The Graceway Gourmet is a pricey high-end grocery store in the Grace Bay Area, easy walking distance (15 minutes or less) from the Ports of Call, Seven Stars, Ocean Club West, Villa Del Mar, Grace Bay Club and Grace Bay Suites. It's a bit longer walk (~20 minutes) from the Sands.
The quality of the meat is very good. We have enjoyed excellent beef tenderloin, pork, burgers, chicken thighs and breasts and last night we had a delicious New York steak. At the deli counter, you can purchase pre-cooked jerk and blackened chicken breasts, fried chicken, sliced meats, potato salad, cole slaw and other pre-made salads. They also have a wood-burning pizza oven where they do made-to-order pizzas.
If you are on a low-carb diet you will be frustrated by the lack of good quality yogurts. Unfortunately, they only stock the sugary, high-carbohydrate yogurts. The highest fat content yogurt I have found is only 5% fat. However, they do have a selection of low-carb pastas and pasta sauces.
The quality of the produce is generally quite high and they do stock some organic produce.
There is a very good selection of wine and beer. Note that they do not sell alcohol on Sundays!
The store is open from 7am until 9pm every day, which is very convenient.
Grass Fed Beef is now available...
Read moreAmazing spot. Not only is it a supermarket, but it has a great Java Bar for those early birds that tend to need that extra kick in the morning. Strategically located in a very populated and popular tourist area, just minutes away from many popular hotels and guest hotspots. As you enter the building your welcomed by the soothing air conditioning and the beautiful aroma of the fresh fruits located just off the front entrance. All isles are properly labeled and eased the stress out of searching for certain groceries and products. Another great feature is the alcohol section which features many great brands both local and international. If your just looking for a home cooked meal, they got you covered as well. Whether its breakfast, lunch, or even dinner. The Pastries are freshly made to accommodate the java bar and they are amazing. Grab a cappuccino and a donut and step right out into the eating section and enjoy the view, or maybe grab your computer and enjoy the free wi-fi as you take a bite of their donut rolls. All in all, this place is amazing. And that is coming...
Read moreGrace way Gourmet, A lovely place to shop. Very pricy compared with the IGA however just a 4 min drive away. You can buy beer at the Turks head brewery a lot cheaper. Food especially the wood stone pizza is to die for. However if you are different looking from the rest of the usual tourist crowd, you may arbitrarily asked for your ID, so make sure you have it handy. I was staying at the shore club had just been to the Infinity lounge that makes great food. I was looking a little beached, Rolex/Tommy Bahama/ sandals, and perhaps a little darker than my usual milk chocolate complexion, more like dark chocolate. I did fumble around for the right American Express, Platinum, (trying to up my status on Delta frequent flier miles), at the counter. Despite having been to this shop many times on my trips to TCI, I was very rudely asked for my ID, which was a little embarrassing mainly for my Irish wife. I'm so used to this so it didn't bother me at all, my wife not so. So pay with cash or have...
