Stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Turks & Caicos for my birthday and honestly had such a beautiful experience. TL;DR – Gorgeous white sand beach, beautiful rooms, delicious food, and fantastic service! 10/10 experience. Mynisha at check-in was kind and professional, and Mason (the hotel manager) was so apologetic about my airport pickup — even though it wasn’t their fault — and offered me a free massage as a birthday treat to make up for it. I paid for a partial ocean view but got upgraded to one of the Club full ocean view rooms for free too because it was my birthday. Mert (manager at Coralli restaurant) noticed I wasn’t feeling great my first night and had fresh ginger sent up to my room after dinner — so thoughtful. Osama from the spa gifted me a huge bottle of eucalyptus oil when he found out I had the flu after my treatment. The front desk team also arranged a courtesy room for me at no extra charge after checkout since my flight wasn’t until 6:30 PM. The service and attention were truly 5-star and made my birthday really special. A perfect 10/10 experience.

Came for our anniversary 9/29. We got engaged on a hobeycat in Jamaica. Wanted to go out on one for our anniversary. Staff kept saying we had to wait for this and that, wasted the entire day waiting and never got out. We came back when they told us to for the 3rd time and now it was “too late”. We then went to try and calm down and relax in the pool, the pool obviously hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, full of dead bugs. Then tried to book a snorkeling trip for the following day on the lady grace, and the cancelled on us last minute. Currently looking for other accommodations. I have stayed at the ritz in Orlando, Aruba and Chicago, all amazing experiences. Would not recommend spending the high amount to come to this particular ritz. Beautiful beach, but horrible customer service. Also, went to dinner the first night, 11$ for a bottle of still water, next door at seven stars bottled water is free.

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos was absolutely outstanding. A special thank you to Ritchie at check-in, who greeted us with such professionalism and kindness, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. Wenderson at the concierge was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable — his recommendations and arrangements made everything effortless. And Carl at the breakfast egg station deserves a shoutout for his cheerful energy every morning! Every team member we encountered, from poolside and beach service to housekeeping and room service, was exceptional — always friendly and attentive. The resort itself is stunning — beautiful views, pristine beach, and that signature Ritz-Carlton elegance throughout. We can’t wait to return to this island paradise!

I just stayed at the Ritz-Carlton in Turks & Caicos this past Sunday–Thursday, and while there were some highlights, I left feeling very underwhelmed for the price and reputation of this property.||When I arrived around 3 PM, my room wasn’t ready, which is fine and understandable. The real frustration started when we mentioned it was my friend’s birthday and asked if we could be on a higher floor instead of the first. The front desk immediately told us that because we booked through Expedia, we were not eligible for any type of upgrade. Honestly, this felt both dismissive and ridiculous — spending thousands of dollars at a Ritz should not come down to where you click “book.” After pressing the issue and involving a manager, we were eventually moved, but not until 6 PM. The initial interaction made us feel unwelcome, as if we were being deliberately given the worst room because of how we booked.||The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable — I especially appreciated the soft bedding and the fact that bottled water was always replenished and complimentary. The property overall, however, felt a bit dated and generic. There was nothing about the design or experience that tied into the Caribbean; it could’ve been a Ritz anywhere in the world.||Breakfast was another odd experience. We opted for the buffet, which was confusingly run like a sit-down service. Staff would seat us, but if we just wanted to grab food and sit wherever, it seemed to annoy them. Every day we were also handed a bill for ~$50 per person, told to sign it, and reassured that we “wouldn’t actually be charged.” This created unnecessary stress, especially when paired with the billing mistake we encountered at checkout (more on that below). The buffet itself was average — I enjoyed the omelette station and fresh juice, but the fruit was a huge letdown. No tropical, local fruit, just the same out-of-season apples and melons I could get back home.||The beach and ocean were beautiful, and I really want to highlight the young boy who worked tirelessly setting up chairs and umbrellas. He was friendly and helpful every day.||Unfortunately, I had a pair of sunglasses go missing after housekeeping came through, and I am 100% certain of where I had left them that morning. When I reported it, housekeeping staff acted as though they didn’t understand English, which felt dismissive and left me uneasy about leaving anything outside the safe for the rest of my stay. I am out of a $250 designer pair of sunglasses with zero apology. ||Lastly, checkout was the final straw. We had the same front desk staff member from check-in, and once again, it was unpleasant. He handed me a bill for nearly $1,500 and asked me to sign without explanation. When I questioned it, he came back five minutes later to say it was an error and that I actually owed nothing. Had I been in a rush and just signed, I would’ve been out $1,500. For a hotel of this caliber, this kind of mistake is unacceptable.||Overall, while there were bright spots — the beach, comfortable room, and attentive beach staff — the management and training at this hotel need serious improvement. The property itself feels outdated and disconnected from the local culture, and multiple issues left me feeling uneasy and unwelcome. For the rates they charge, the experience simply did not match...

I recently had the opportunity to revisit the Ritz Carlton lounge during low season, primarily for the lounge access, which we had enjoyed on our previous visit. Last time, the food was fantastic, with a great variety that really elevated the experience.

This time, however, I was left feeling disappointed. While the ambiance remained inviting, the food quality and selection did not live up to the high standards we had expected, especially considering the premium price of $350. To make matters worse, some of the fruit had a slimy texture and appeared old, which was quite unappetizing. Consistency is key in hospitality, and if you can’t maintain the same level of excellence, it becomes a tough sell.

The overall offerings felt limited compared to our last experience, which was disheartening. For a venue of this caliber, I believe they should strive to provide that same impressive variety and quality every time. While I appreciate their efforts, I hope they can refine the lounge access experience to match the price point. Overall, it was a mixed experience, and I would think twice before recommending it at this rate unless significant...

From the moment you walk in and see the stunning lobby view. Spectacular. We went for our 20th anniversary, club level access, highly recommend it if possible.

The people at the property make you feel like family, Virgo set the tone when we checked in, and then the club floor team took over and they made this trip really special. Wildley, Cris and the entire crew are amazing, they made us feel so welcome the entire time. Food and drink excellent. The beach is gorgeous, ocean as well. Room was amazing, beautiful balcony and view. Champagne and chocolate covered strawberries with a nice happy anniversary note waiting in the room when we checked in was so thoughtful.

Plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

No snorkeling off the beach if you’re looking for that, all crystal clear water and white sand (not a complaint). Did some diving though, they pick up and drop off at the hotel.

Turks is a little quieter than some other Caribbean destinations, but the Ritz has a great little casino for late night, unsurprisingly the casino also has a great friendly team, lot of fun.

We loved the entire vacation, definitely will be back to the...
