Pretty unfortunate dining choice tonight. Very mediocre food and a wait staff that requires an attitude adjustment. They did not appear to have time for us even though it wasn't busy. As a matter of fact the restaurant was less than half capacity. We ordered the olive plate and a side of meatballs as our app. One pizza and 1 pasta plate as our meal. Start with the olives... There are green olives with pimentos which are clearly out of a jar and there are black olives that actually taste like Mediterranean olives however they are so chopped up you have to scoop them with your fork in order to pick them up. One down... The meatballs... lets see.. mediocre at best. Odd flavor.. I'm like and he needs all I've ever had in my life and hope to have. I will give them one mark for the sauce which is quite good. Moving on... The pasta... Clearly fresh pasta, not dried pasta. One mark... the song... Again, the sauce is quite good. Regretfully, for $20 you get about 25 pieces of pasta. Each piece being a little over 1 inch long and about a half inch wide. Seems a bit steep, doesn't it? A little less than a dollar a piece for pasta? Really? Next was the pizza... The pizza is an extremely odd shape. Far cry from a circle, not quite oblong like an American football, more like a football that's them squashed. The crust is tasty really soggy under the sauce and other ingredients. Our pizza had some kind of microscopically shaved meat on it which you really couldn't taste because the sauce is so flavorful. I had one piece of pizza and was done with that. We paid close to a $90 check and made our way out of there. We come to Turks and Caicos at least once a year for 7 or 8 days. We will not be making a trip to Lupo anytime soon... Ever... do yourself a favor and eat at Thai Orchid diagonally across the parking area. The food is much better and the...

We ordered the fries, Lupo house salad, chicken Alfredo, and the ravioli. The fries were a little different but actually how the waitress describe, just not as tasty as I would hope, so no fault to Lupo's. The Lupo salad was delicious and a full salad; no skimpy side salads. The chicken alfredo was basic and not much of anything to rave about. However, the ravioli was disgusting! There was barely any filling nut that didn't matter as they were literally drowned in this brown gravy looking sauce.
Overall: Although, we enjoyed the service and the atmosphere, the ravioli was such a turn off that its unlikely we will return in the future. I wouldn't say it's a string no for others but just a warning to really go over the menu, if you are really wanting to try out...
Read moreFirst of all, I just want to say, this restaurant’s has introduces me to some of the worst tasting food I have ever tasted. The food they provide is hazardous, I am not usually inclined towards putting restaurants down. However, this food has past the limit of what I think should be served to the innocent public and tourist in Turks and Caicos. I would be safer to eat the common rode kill on the street than consume a piece of the food that is served here. The reason the service is good is because the restaurant wants to send you to the bathroom as quick as they can. I would become a master chef in no time by doing the exact opposite of what Lupo has done. I would rather eat the various mosquitoes that have taken residence in the surrounding bushed than eat the food Lupo has served me. Not even the flies dared touch...
