What an awesome restaurant!! Decided to have dinner here with 24 of my friends and family during my trip to T&C and this restaurant did not disappoint. The owner Mary personally called to ask if I was celebrating anything and I told her it was my 60th birthday. She told me she would make it a memorable event and that was an understatement. When I tell you Mary went above and beyond to make this a special event I am not exaggerating. She decorated the entire restaurant with Mylar and regular balloons, gave me a gift of 6 beautiful personalized hand painted glasses that said Happy 60th birthday Tracy and set the table with beautiful personalized placemats that had a space for people to write me birthday blessings on the other side, in addition dessert. All of this was FREE OF CHARGE and just done out of the goodness of her heart. The food was delicious and not one person had anything negative to say about ANY dish that was brought out. The garnishes on the dishes were spectacular as was the service. She graciously accommodated our request for separate checks and by the end of the night I felt like Mary was part of the family. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting T&C

What a great little gem in TCI. We came here after great Google reviews and the reviews don't lie. We didn't have a reservation but were able to be seated. A reservation would make it easier. They start you with this unique veggie salsa with chips that should be bottled and sold. I had the wings with bbq guava sauce, shrimp fried rice, and fried plantains. My husband had the jerk shrimp risotto. Wow. I was pretty stuffed with my wings alone, but the flavor was phenomenal. My husband said the jerk chicken had just the right amount of heat that balanced the richness of his risotto. We even got the chocolate cake for dessert and had two mocktails. In all for the amount that we spent, we were extremely satisfied with all the food. We spent similar amounts at other places in the area and less satisfied with the food. I also love that the owner comes around and greets every customer to make it a welcoming atmosphere. Would highly recommend this to any visitors on TCI, especially those wanting a Caribbean flair to their meal at reasonable prices.

Caribbean Element is a hidden gem in Turks and Caicos that offers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the delicious cuisine. The menu showcases the best of Caribbean flavors, with dishes that are both authentic and innovative. The jerk chicken is a must-try, with its perfectly balanced blend of spices that will leave your taste buds dancing. The conch fritters are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, a classic Caribbean appetizer done right. The service is impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. The owner, Mary, is a true hospitality professional who takes great pride in her restaurant and makes every guest feel welcome. If you're looking for a truly authentic and delicious Caribbean meal in Turks and Caicos, Caribbean Element is a must-visit. You won't be dissatisfied!!

First off I want start the review off by saying Mary is amazing and our group had a great time conversating with her as we celebrated my Fathers 80th birthday and parents 49 years of marriage. Mary went out of her way to accomodate our party. Rain earlier that day had pushed all the larger parties to later times which ended up overlapping with our reservation for 10ppl@7:45pm. We ending up eating outside on the patio and we started with several orders of conch fritters, and octopus and housemade chips and puree. Both appetizers were good, and the puree was flavorful and chips definitely fresh and recently fried. The conch fritters were my favorite, fried perfectly with a tastey dipping sauce. I ordered the curry goat which was phenomenal. Served with white rice and coleslaw. The slaw brought everything together for me as the acid in it was essential yet perfect for the dish and palate. My sister and wife ordered the curry shrimp risotto which was phenomenal as well!! My mother had the curry/jerk snapper filet and my father the pork chop entree. I tried everydish and everything was really good!! I am a Chef back in states in the Houston area and have worked with some of best chefs in houston. I would consider myself a "foodie" for sure and I'd like to think I know good food as well. Caribbean Element hit all the notes for us!! I thanked the kitchen for a amazing meal as there execution of all the dishes was great. All in all service was great, really really good food, patio seating was nice too, and Mary's warm embracing personality definitely won...

This past weekend was a special celebration for my wife Michelle's birthday, and my son Deon recommended that I reach out to Shane and Mary while we were on the island. We had the pleasure of dining at Mary and Shane’s restaurant, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience. In our quest for authentic Caribbean cuisine, we stumbled upon their establishment thanks to the glowing reviews, and we were eager to give it a try. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with warmth by the friendly staff. Meeting Mary and Shane, the wonderful owners and hosts, was a highlight of our visit; they truly made us feel at home. Michelle chose the curry oxtails, while I opted for the snapper and pumpkin soup. Both dishes were sensational, showcasing divine flavors that reflected the culinary artistry of this restaurant. We started with chips and salsa, but this was no ordinary salsa—it was a Caribbean roasted vegetable salsa that was simply incredible. When I asked our server for her favorite entrée recommendation, she confidently suggested the curry oxtails. Having never tried them before, I decided to take the plunge—and it was absolutely worth it! The dish was “oh my goodness” delicious, leaving my plate spotless by the end. A huge thank you to Mary and Shane for being such gracious hosts and creating this amazing restaurant. We will...

Had a deplorable experience here on Christmas Day. Even my son reminded me to leave a negative review. Sat down and was expecting a potential wait given some other reviews on here - but the way the night played out was beyond our worst expectations. We were already angry after seeing other tables get their food despite seating and ordering after us. No one checked in with us after 45mins (if you can't serve us, at least check in and provide updates or take another drink order and keep us in good spirits). Asked for more chips/dip b/c we were starving and waited 30 mins for those, after asking again. Our kids meals came out before adult entrees. Gave up at 1.5 hour mark, after kids had finished their meals and were growing restless. Asked to cancel our orders and we'd pay for the appetizers and drinks we already finished. Waited another 20mins w/o server coming with check or to-go containers for our kids meals. Stood up to raise a stink - finally took our credit card and given to-go containers that had another table's food in it. Raised another stink and manager FINALLY came to speak with us and offered to comp entire meal. Was fine w/ that until I got my CC statement and saw they had charged my CC anyways. Good thing my CC company credited us back the charge. What a disaster...
