A Flavorsome Feast at Captain Zaiqey!

From the moment I stepped into Captain Zaiqey, I knew I was in for something special. The warm, inviting ambiance set the stage for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal.

I had been craving Mathri Omelette for so long in the UK, reminiscing about my AMU days, and I had made up my mind that the moment I landed in Dubai, I would have it. And oh, what a joy it was to finally relive those cherished memories! The crispiness of the mathri paired with the perfectly cooked omelette was just as I remembered—comforting, nostalgic, and bursting with flavor.

Along with it, I tried the Chicken Cutlets with Sesame Seeds, which were crisp on the outside, tender inside, and had a delightful nutty crunch that made them even more special.

But the real magic began with the main course. The Rampuri Qorma was hands down the highlight of the meal. It was just like the ones served at Waleemas in Rampur—rich, perfectly textured, and packed with deep, aromatic flavors. Coupled with Whole Wheat Tandoori Roti, I felt as if I was at a grand wedding feast in Rampur itself, relishing this signature dish that is traditionally reserved for wedding receptions.

The Kacche Gost Ke Kabab and Galaouti Kabab were unbelievably tender, literally melting in my mouth, while the Moradabadi Pulao was fragrant, perfectly spiced, and so comforting that I could have eaten it on its own and still been satisfied.

Pairing all this with fresh Whole Wheat Tandoori Roti made the experience even better, and then came the Nihari—slow-cooked, hearty, and just the kind of dish that lingers in your memory long after the last bite.

To end on a sweet note, the Shahi Tukda was pure indulgence—crispy yet soaked in just the right amount of saffron-infused sweetness. It was the perfect way to wrap up such a soulful meal.

What truly made this experience even more special was the exceptional hospitality of the Mr. Syed Arshad. His passion for food and dedication to ensuring every guest has a memorable experience was evident in every interaction. His warmth, knowledge, and recommendations added a personal touch that made us feel not just like customers, but like honored guests.

Just visited Captain Zaiqey Restaurant and had an amazing experience. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting vibe. Everything we ordered was freshly made and served with a smile.

Food: The Nali Nihari was so authentic as you take 1st bite, rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, with tender meat and a thick, satisfying gravy. It was complemented beautifully by the naan, which was fresh and soft. Also loved the attention to detail—served with fresh ginger,chillies, and salad. Perfect combo!

The Afghani Pulao with Chicken Charcoal was another highlight—the rice was fragrant and well-cooked, and the grilled chicken was juicy, smoky, and full of flavor.

It is good to see the management take care of things personally. Mr. Arshad who personally entertained everyone and made sure we were comfortable. Really appreciated the hospitality!
