What a low down, dirty, shame.
After having the ABSOLUTE worst customer service online for gift card issues and then it finally being fixed and ordering something then it being canceled because it was out of stock (but was in-stock when I ordered) I went in person to my local Anthro in Bath. I had breen before regarding the same gift card issue a month and an half earlier and I had amazing service from a guy from California (didnât get his name but he was v helpful and empathetic). Sadly, I went yesterday (Friday, nov. 1st) and the young girl, in a grey Nike track suit and red nails, that was âhelpingâ me should not be working in customer service at all, she cannot deal with customers at a basic level. Maybe a grocery store where you donât need to interact with people, but Anthropologie, a high end American store (where customer service is prized), no. I ended up leaving apologizing for stressing her out as she rolled her eyes at me when this whole ordeal has been anthroâs fault.
Customer service online has been v inconsistent and Iâve given 2 stars for the cool guy from cali and the other v helpful lady (super cute red cardi), I assume management from the way she handled herself. I could tell that she was a bit flustered too with the situation but she didnât let it show, that is good customer service. But this young track suit girl made all the good seem bad.    Read moreThe Bath store is local to me. Found the manager, Nick, very unhelpful. I bought a dress online as a birthday gift for someone. I then had an email from Anthropologie to say that it had been returned & the money would be put back on my card. A month later I am still waiting for a refund. The call centre in the Philippines was disastrous. The man barely spoke English and all he did was to give me a 27 digit reference number!! Where is the refund I was promised back on my card a month ago?? No-one at Anthropologie is remotely helpful or interested in "customer service" - just dismissive & snooty. I will NEVER shop here...
   Read moreCompletely and utterly incompetent. I ordered an outfit in a UK size 10 in store in February and have since been sent no less than THREE UK size 14's. I have now been sent a 4th item in an unknown size to the WRONG ADDRESS! I don't know what drugs these people are taking to make them so useless. I'm waiting for further information oo at the very least an apology but so far neither has happened. How this company manage to squeeze so much money out of people is a complete mystery....
