I had one of the worst retail experiences I've ever encountered at TK Maxx Bath. I went in to collect an online order. The Click & Collect machine wasn't working, so I waited patiently - no staff approached. When I asked for help at the checkout, the store manager, Leah, insisted I go back and press the broken button again, even though she knew it wasn’t working. Eventually, she sent someone over, but her attitude was rude and dismissive throughout.
Later, I discovered a completely wrong item had been sent - I'd ordered a necklace but received a dress worth double the price. When I returned to the store, Leah refused to process the return and accused me of possibly swapping the item myself because I hadn't opened the parcel in-store, a "policy" I believed was not of TK Maxx. She even threatened to take the item without issuing any refund. I was shocked by both the accusation and her hostile tone.
Only after phoning TK Maxx customer service and having them speak directly to another staff member was the return finally processed. The other staff were helpful, but Leah’s behaviour was unprofessional, confrontational, and completely unacceptable for someone in a managerial role.

She snapped at me in a very unprofessional way saying you should plan your shopping it’s not her problem. She made very rude body language and also kept on insulted and mock at me for asking that question. I asked her name she said it’s Amelia. I doubt she gave the correct name. That’s why I had to describe her. Dark hair, wearing a white jumper, hair tight back as knot, the date 10th of December 2022 between 3:10 pm to 3:30 pm.
This staff member should work in back office and not worth of dealing with customer relation duties.
