The Bath Sweet Shop — Local services in Bath

I was staying at Elton House Abbey Street, Bath from Monday 5th August 2024 to Friday 9th August 2024. I was fascinated by this lovely looking shop and decided that I was going to take a look in there on Thursday 8th August 2024, to see what I could find from My Childhood, to take home with Me to London. I was literally as “A Child in a Sweetshop”, so many delicious looking wares which I remember from My Childhood when I would buy a Quarter of My favourite sweets. Antoinette the lovely lady who served Me and allowed Me to yak on about My favourite things from days past,measured My quarters and provided me with many lovely treats. I even found some PEZ Disney Princesses too and some Rainbow Sherbet, which I have always loved. A truly wonderful place to go too if...

This sweet shop is the sweetest thing I have found in a year. First I was looking at a picture in front of the shop depicting old kind lady selling sweets to children and then I walked into the shop to see what's inside, it had me almost in tears that the lady at the counter is resembling the one in the poster. She was packing the candies. Very kind and very welcoming at a time. I couldn't resist to buy one of the delicious sweets from the shop. What a great experience here for my first time in Bath. Totally recommending this old sweets shop. This is a pure gem in the center of a historical city. I hope she got a lot of love from everyone who visits the shop. Wow what a amazing little shop love seeing all the jars of sweets it's so difficult to choose what to get and the chocolate well that's the best I ever had i really like that the shop inside and out has never changed from how I remember when I was a young kid wich makes it special the staff are really friendly and helpful there was one thing I had every Christmas from there and as things are at moment it might not be possible but they are going to try so what more could you ask for. Definitely a amazing place and recommend to anyone and anytime I been with anyone I have took them...
