Urban Outfitters — Local services in Bath

Bought two items of clothing 3 days ago. Took the tags off when I got home, then tried them on to notice they both didn’t fit like I thought they would. Decided to go back down to bath the next day to refund them both, they told me I can refund the items and have store credit, or have the money refunded to my card. (The cashier checked both items of clothing before approving the refund) I decided to refund the money to the credit card used which was my mothers card as she bought it, but as my mother wasn’t with me this couldn’t be done, so they told me to come back tomorrow to refund the items. The next day I come back, they tell me I can’t refund one item because it’s “one of a kind” and they can’t prove it’s theirs, even when I had a receipt. Then they tell me the OTHER item also can’t be refunded because it smells of washing powder, when realistically it did not smell of anything and is just a pointless excuse. After stating I hadn’t washed them (why would I if they didn’t even fit), they told me they had no proof of this, and accused me of lying. This is ridiculous, you can’t tell me one day it’s fine that I can refund the items, and then the next tell me you can’t, because of some bad excuse. Never...

Went into to this store looking to buy a bunch of clothes but was treated so poorly by a woman named “avesha” or however you spell it. I hope managment deals with her. She was very rude after everyone else in the store had been nice and helpful. Aveesha needs an attitude check and to do her job, ontop of scowling and looking disgusted in me when I asked for a bigger size, but screamed at me to go back to the change room I was previously in to get the hangers when none of the items in that change room were mine except one which I hung up properly as I work in retail myself. My 9 year old daughter came home with a book full of sex positions and another weed colouring book ? I found them in her bedroom then turns out the store has other products being sold to kids. Spoke to a young lady who was polite but then saw her laughing when my husband approached why children are being sold these products. We are a liberal minded family and discuss everything. But this brand has shown no responsibility. Quite honestly the store looked a mess fitting rooms always awful. Seems youngsters who just think they're cool than professional staff.
