It’s not often I write reviews but I felt after a few weeks of trying to grow my nails out I was compelled to write one due to the poor condition my nails are still in and we are in April now.

I have read the negative reviews on here and the claims are that they are fake as a response. I can confirm I am a customer which has attended on two occasions. Once to have the Biab nails treatment and 2nd time to remove the Biab nails. This is not a fake review but a honest and genuine review.

I am someone who does not regularly have my nails painted or any form of nail treatment carried unless it’s a special occasion. I chose to attend this salon because after research BIAB nails add a layer of strength and protection to the nails. I usually get gel polish applied in the past. I had my nails done in the middle of February from Priya.

The salon is clean and Priya is friendly as the business owner. I have no issue with the customer service but my negative feedback is about the procedure she used and condition of my nails since Priya removed the BiAb.

I opted for a one block colour on my usual short nails and a glitter colour on the 3rd finger. This cost me £55. A method of sanding down my nails using a machine was used before the application.

A few days after the nail treatment the shine had completely worn off almost all the nails looked dull. I then decided two weeks after having my nails I would have the Biab removed as I usually don’t keep polish on for long enough or maintain it as some people do fortnightly or monthly.

Priya used to what I can describe as a drill method to remove the nails filling it off with a machine application. I can only assume this tool stripped off another layer of my nail as it did when it was used to apply the Biab polish. Through this process she also asked me if my nails felt hot while she was using the method, to which I replied yes

Immediately my nails felt weak brittle and have done ever since. They are breaking off any time there is a little bit of growth, chipping or splitting. I can’t even peel off a sticker without the nail flexing or splitting. Therefore I have to cut or file down the shortest I can possible have them.

I can see half of health nail growth from the nail bed seeing as it’s been nearly 6 weeks but it seems there’s still some time to go before the weaker part of my nail has grown out fully. I’m disappointed in this and I’m sure there would have been a more healthier way to remove the Biab rather than strip off layers of my natural nail. I’m not sure how this has meant my nails remained healthy or had extra strength to maintain a healthy nail after removal.

This is my experience and now I will never have Biab done if this is the methods used. I can’t compare other salons as I haven’t been to any since who offer this treatment.

The two stars I have awarded are for The customer service. The lack of 3 stars is for the awful condition my nails are now In.

Post reply back from the team at the salon: I was away on holiday therefore using any excessive water was not possible or cleaning chemicals. I had a cleaner cleaning the hotel room. It’s also incorrect and inflammatory as a response to assume a person lifestyle based on simple chit chat. Also going back to the salon after a negative experience is not always possible. It’s not like layers of my nail could have been glued back on by the team. I would also request that you upload these before and after pictures you claim you have. I am happy for you to share.
