Saw good reviews for this place online and had high expectations considering it's a bit pricey. Booked online a few days prior and could only select a table for two people as a minimum, sent an email asking if it was okay that just one person will be attending as it was quite late and near closing time. Didn't hear back the next day so phoned up, very hard to hear on the phone and the person didn't seem to understand what I was asking so they just booked another table for me. Entrance to the actual restaurant wasn't very clear as you have to go into the car park and there is a little booking desk downstairs at the entrance, also unclear if you needed to wait there or if you could just go straight upstairs to be seated, luckily there were two women who were sat downstairs and said you could just go on upstairs. Confirmed my booking for one person with the waiter at the bar who told me to take a seat in the waiting area. Waited for over 15 minutes, ignored by the staff who all looked over at me when walking past but no one thought to approach me. There were clearly plenty of tables available and it wasn't too busy on a Sunday evening either. Eventually a waitress asks me what I'm waiting for here and if I'm waiting for someone, not sure where the waiter at the bar disappeared to but it was clearly not communicated with the rest of the staff that I had a booking for one person and was waiting to be seated. Was expecting an apology at the very least but nothing. Not a very good start but was hoping the food would make up for it. Shortly after being seated, my waitress Robin took my order and the food came pretty quickly, about 10 mins or less. Ordered the Beef Ribs with mash. Although it says Beef RibS with an 'S' on the menu but there was only one on the plate 😛 Very large portion and presentation was good but average taste and so a bit overpriced in my opinion. Also ordered a Passion Fruit Mojito which was nice. Toilets were clean and I thought the taps were a cool design. The decor and atmosphere was lovely but I don't think I would come here again which is a shame as I was really looking forward to dining here and wanted to enjoy it but unfortunately my initial experience when I entered and the average food was a downer.

Despite having a reservation we were seated in a very secluded area and had to wait to be seated. We ordered some drinks and appetisers they took about 20 mins to come. The ‘coke’ i ordered was some off brand coke and tasted absolutely awful. The mocktails were alright but overpriced at £9. The mac and cheese was the worst thing ive tasted in my life and tasted like it was cooked with flour and had NO cheese in it; and the halloumi was salty and chewy. Like how do you mess up halloumi?!!! We then waited for an hour for food to arrive, as we got up to the leave and pay the waiter told us the food was there and ‘eaten’ despite us getting up. We went back as we were hungry and fasting so we decided to stay. I had ordered a chicken fillet with chips. Ive never tasted anything so sour and spicy in my life. The flavours made no sense and was just overly seasoned. The side came with chips and arugula. Arugula!!! The chips was underdone and bland. Like OMG. Even my 3 year old neice can make better fries. Needless to say we were over it. My mate ordered lamp chops and mash. She ordered it medium and came well done and was also chewy and grim. The mash potatoes was 100% instant mash from the packet bought from Aldi. I will never believe it was freshly made even if they made it in-front of me it was that bad. Im not usually a leave a review kind of person but i need to do this as a PSA because ive never been so traumatised by food. We ended up paying £90 for that disgusting experience. Overpriced and horrid food and the service was just downright awful. Im sure they are nice people but they need to stay away from the kitchen. Im thinking chef gets his recipes from Tiktok. If your into nice decor by all means come. But leave as soon as you have a peak because the food may kill you or leave you with a new strand of ecoli

Tasteless main / beautiful interior design Myself and 4 other adults with a toddler went there on the 20th Aug , booked in advance , the place interior design is astonishing 10/10. We order 3 starters uo share and save for the main. Although the staff were friendly and well presented, the waiter brought no plates , when we ask him to bring plates he only brought 3 plate , even though we mentioned that we all share. At the end he brought more plates. Then I asked for break, surprisingly they don’t have any type of bread , I asked for pita or naan ( in fact I would have preferred naan) but I was told they don’t have any. Then for the main we order two lamb chunk , sea bass , lamb chop (medium rare) and can’t remember what the fifth adult order. The first huge mistake was that the lamb chop were well done , the waiter took it back and brought another one that supposed to be medium rare but according to my friend was medium well. The two portion of lamb chunk was nothing extraordinary about it , the taste was more like Weatherspoon type rather than 4.8 stars restaurant. The next day the two guests that ordered lamb chunk and the sea bass , we all had upset stomach. At the end I order a surprise birthday cake with sparkle candle , that was beautifully presented but the taste of the cake was definitely commercial ( was not tasty at all) . The cutlery although they look nice , they weren’t polished for 4.8 stars restaurant. The birthday friend wasn’t impressed.Respectfully, I would not eat there again nor recommend. I know their reviews say 4.8 stars but I would probably rate it as 3.3 stars the most. Overpriced and overrated. Interior design 10/10 Friendly / well presented staff 10/10 Service 7/10 Food taste 2/10 Price 2/10

100% the worst dining experience we have ever experienced in our lives! Customer service is basically non existent! I ordered the lamb shank however it took over an hour for us to be served and at this point I'm hungry (I'm happy to wait for the food if it's worth the wait) but in this case I could only take 3 bites before being unable to eat this bland plate put infront of me. The waiters picked up on me not eating my food and decided to avoid eye contact and our table completely until eventually one waiter called the manager over after I expressed the food was NOT good at all. To which the manager decided to try to speak to me (a grown woman) like a child and try to explain what a lamb skank is. I have had lamb shank in several restaurants over several countries! I'm pretty sure I know what a lamb shank is and this was just the worst I'd ever tasted. He made zero effort to rectify this and only attempted to defend the awful plate infront of me. My partner had the tomahawk which resulted in food poisoning the next day. This is the first time he's experienced food poisoning in his life and led to him having 3 days off work so far! He expressed this to the restaurant after (maybe the next day or the day after I can't recall now) to which they again tried to defend and make excuses. To be honest wr made it clear it's not about the money as we spent an excess of £130 approx there but the service was so awful and how the staff refused to deal with the issue made the matter worse. We experienced a poor meal the first time visiting EtcI Mehmet however the customer service was so good it has now became our regular spot, we just don't order the food we didn't enjoy and there's lots of others good stuff on the menu- my point being if customer service existed in decorum there could have been a chance to return but after the appalling meals lack of hygiene and NO customer service at all we will definitely NEVER be returning to this disgrace of an establishment. Your staff need retraining (mainly your manager)in how to talk to people. His beliefs are NOT facts and he should NEVER speak to people the way he spoke to me. I suggest you retrain your staff and try adding some flavours in to your dishes. Very...
