Cannot recommend this salon enough. the staff are ALL very friendly and courteous. My stylist "Harriett" has always been very professional and has become a close friend, she always has time to listen to any personal problems. And she is a great hairdresser !!! Incidentally, I was in the salon on the day Ian and Mellie (see negative reports earlier) were there. This was just after the salon had re-opened after the first lockdown. The gentleman's behaviour was completely unacceptable, neither him or his partner would wear a face mask, he spent all the time while waiting for his partner walking around the salon, shouting the odds, completely ignoring the covid regulations, putting everyone in the room at risk. Disappointed in my recent visit for my nails on Tuesday by Wednesday evening I had two split nails after having sculptured biab nails for my birthday night out this weekend, I messaged to show the pictures of what had happened and was asked if I wanted to go in to have a look at them however I’m unable to due to work commitments and not being available for another week until a day off and baring in mind I’m out this Friday! I asked for a partial refund which I don’t think is unreasonable at all due to me now having to remove the nails and not have any on for the weekend as I don’t have time! I understand a lot of time and work went into this but to not offer any refund because I’m struggling to go back until next week isn’t good enough definitely wouldn’t recommend this nail...

Honestly can’t praise this place enough.

I’ve absolutely hated my hair for years, I’m mixed race (black Caribbean/white) and have naturally frizzy curly hair which I prefer to wear straight. My whole life has been one long battle with my hair!

After finally deciding I’d had enough of my previous salon making me feel like an inconvenience because my hair took ages to do, I got in touch with M Hair and Beauty for a consultation after a friend recommended them. Sam suggested a keratin blow dry to tame my crazy mane and I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s changed my life. I’ve even been able to go blonde, something I’ve always wanted to do, and for the first time in my life (at my big age of 34) I love my hair!
