Be Chocolat Brighton — Local services in Great Britain

How has this got no reviews! I'm new to Brighton so been wandering and exploring all the little nooks and crannies of the city and I come across Be Chocolat....had no intention of buying anything but after working my way through 4 or 5 different tasters I just couldn't resist! The staff are so warm and friendly and don't pressure you at all, they just encourage you to take it all in and look around and if you want to try something you can just ask. When I arrived they had just made a fresh batch of chocolate truffles. I can't even describe how wonderful they are. So good it brought tears to my eyes! I have never known a truffle to be so soft and delicate, it was like handling a marshmallow. Seeing is believing guys, just go there and I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Even before you walk in the door you can see there is a level of care that has gone into this place. The colour pallette used in the decoration is perfectly suited to what they are selling. And the window display positively invites you in with the promise of more to come. Inside is clean, well laid out and with neatly stacked regiments of the main event (chocolate) front and centre. Almost too much to choose from. You'll find variations on all your old favorites here and maybe a few new favorites too. Seeing staff busy behind the counter actually making the chocolates inspires an extra level of confidence in what you are buying. Ordered churros with an accompanying sauce. The girl serving was great and the dipping chocolate lovely however the churros were very greasy with a pool of oil in the bottom of the cup and the ends were very very oily. At £8.50 and from a luxury chocolate shop, this experience means I will not purchase again. It has also put me off purchasing anything else from the shop. 3 stars because the sauce was great otherwise would be 1 star.

Updated: Thank you for the reply but the oil temperature needs to be right otherwise the churros will be saturated with grease. Not all churros are served so greasy and shouldn't have oil in the cup so were not drained properly. The chocolate sauce...
