Daisy Daisy — Local services in Great Britain

I went into this store with my little child, there were two saleswomen standing behind the till. I asked them if they sold squidgy stress balls and the taller lady with short blond hair and glasses instantly replied 'oh no, we don't sell those, they're not environmentally friendly' and she added 'it's all about principles'. She said that if I wanted to buy those types of squidgy balls, there are street sellers by Churchill Square who sell them, but they didn't sell them in their shop. I specifically know that there is another lovely toy store in Fiveways that sells them and informed her that I will go there. I turned to leave and she AGAIN added 'it's about principles'. How patronising and rude! Is she insinuating that everything that is sold in this toy shop is environmentally friendly? And is she questioning my principles? Very poor sales training and evidently no knowledge of the importance of customer relationships...

If you’re young at heart, a child with a love of learning and craft, or simply share my soft spot for cuddly toys (and a bit of a Jellycat addiction!), Daisy Daisy is a little haven in the Lanes. On a Friday lunch break, it’s always a treat to pop in, see the latest ranges, and have a friendly catch-up with the staff.

Over the years, it’s become my go-to place for Jellycats. They’re always up to date with the ever-changing collections, the staff are lovely, and the prices are great. I’ve even added a few photos of some of my favourites I’ve picked up along the way.

However, whilst our children were browsing your shop looking to spend their cash. Our party was abruptly asked to move as we were accused of stopping others getting in by a short haired older lady with pink glasses.
