The coffee is really good; that is a fact. And thatâs why theyâre getting two stars. However! The staff is incredibly rude. They constantly get orders wrong and then try to argue with customers when they correct them at pick up. If you want your coffee take away in the morning - donât bother. Youâre in for a 20 minute wait, and thatâs assuming your order is even correct. If itâs not, youâre in for a morning argument with the barista who follows the order slip typed by the person on the till who by then forgot your order anyway. If youâre lucky you get an eye roll and a new coffee. If not, tough luck - enjoy that flat white you didnât order and canât drink anyway because itâs on dairy milk. Overall - if it wasnât in my building I probably wouldnât ever go to Notes, but geographically theyâre the most convenient place. Guys! Please sort yourselves out because the coffee is...
Read moreMe and my friends were treated with huge disrespect and rudeness by their staff today. They treat customers differently depending on how much youâre gonna spend there. People who only have a coffee DONT DESERVE A TABLE.
We were stopped by a staff once we entered there, she told us if we only drink coffee, she might ask us to leave soon because she needs the table for other customers who want to have food here. âIf you are going to order food, then you can have the table no matter how long.â She said to us exactly like that.
After 30mins, she came and saidâ I need you to leave now because we need the table.â, After 2mins, she came again said, â We need table now, one minute, and you need to leave.â No customer was waiting for a table by that time. I would leave any of you who is reading this comment to judge what just happened. And...
Read moreOur first impression was to have entered -uninvited - someone's kitchen. Staff ignored us for 20 mins, then reluctantly took our order and after another 15 mins or so very couldn't-care-less-ly brought our tea to the table. The table was sticky and the floor covered in crumbs. Tea was served in glasses (with no handles) in what I can only guess was a lame attempt at looking cool.... needless to say the tea had to get cold before we could touch the incandescent glasses to finally drink it. As staff kept going about their business as if in a trance (one where the air was made of molasses judging by how painstakingly slowly they were all moving) paying the bill took another decade or so. We managed to see the nonsensical fun side of the situation but we're most definitely...
