Food is not bad (tasty even if a bit pricey) but the service by front of house staff is appalling. I tried to order on the screens but none of the available ones were working. I walked up to the counter where there were 3 members of staff - clearly I needed some assistance but I had to wait at least 5 mins before one of them deigned to acklowledge me. I get that the standard procedure is to use the screens, but as I said, none of them were working - so why are you ignoring your customers? At the very least they should ask if I need help? When I politely asked if I could order at the counter since the screens weren't working, by their response you would have thought I was making some outrageous request. Strange. They directed me back to the screen - one of which finally worked and I placed the order (turns one out of 4 available screens worked on the second attempt). When my number came up the server chucked the food onto the tray without any care, and gave no eye contact or pleasantries when handing over the tray - I get this is a fast food joint so I'm not expecting the Ritz, but at least a base level of manners and respect would be appreciated - staff at Macdonalds for example, in my experience, always seem to be friendly, helpful and courteous - this guy at Leon was so miserable I had half a mind to call him out directly and ask what his problem was. The guys behind the counter weren't wearing any uniform and slouched behind the counter to the extent that initially I wasn't even sure they were employees working there. This bad attitude clearly radiated out to the other customers waiting for their food, who all looked similarly put off. What an embarrassment. I do like the Caeser burger but after that experience I don't think I will be going back. Advise to Management - do some mystery shopper visits to some of these restaurants to see for yourself, and set some basic standards with your staff. This particular incident occurred at 2.30pm 10th Jan 25 - some of the reviews here about the staff are super positive so I don't want the wrong people getting into trouble - but...
Read moreI placed a click-and-collect order, and my food was ready within five minutes, which was great. The service was simple—my name was called, I picked up my order, and that was it.
The food was decent overall. I went for the Firecracker Chicken Supreme Bowl to try something new, but I probably wouldn’t get it again—the portion was quite small for the price. The watermelon match was refreshing, though, and the fries were a standout: crispy and tasty, especially with the Korean dip.
One thing that really put me off was the cleanliness of the space. Despite it not being very busy, several tables were left full of trash, and it didn’t look or feel nice to be sitting right beside them. It gave the place an unkempt vibe, which took away from the overall experience.
There are charging ports available at the back near the sofa area, which is a good touch—though I didn’t test if they actually worked.
Overall, a decent place for a quick bite, but the atmosphere would really benefit from more attention to cleanliness and better...
Read moreThe staff in this branch are without doubt the rudest in London. They have no place working in any customer-facing environment. The Eastern European lady on the desk is an absolute disgrace — openly disrespectful and treating customers with complete contempt. The tall Black gentleman who works there is no better, refusing to even acknowledge customers when spoken to.
It is shocking that head office has allowed this behaviour to continue, especially when so many other reviews highlight the exact same issues. This is not just poor service — it is a total failure of basic professionalism. Head office urgently needs to intervene, retrain, or replace these employees. If they are unwilling or unable to treat customers with basic respect, they should find another career.
Disgraceful and...
