Boots — Local services in London

I'm definitely not that kind of person who would complain and make someone's day worse, because I kindly believe life is hard as it gets itself. But today's visit at Boots pharmacy wasn't helpful at all and very disappointed me by how unorganised and miserable things went. I got prescription to collect my medication and unfortunately some things on system went wrong so I needed to call my doctor at place and get new prescription. Unfortunately that didn't help and pharmacist wasn't happy to give my medication but he advised me on buying similar medication which is also, he mentioned, will get cheaper. i'm currently unemployed and buying my medication isn't cheaper in any way than getting my medication on NHS. Hands-down the worst pharmacy I have ever used. I have been with them for five months, picking up monthly repeat prescriptions from them. On three of the five separate occasions, I have dropped into the store about a week after placing my order to ask whether or not they had it yet, only to find that the order was never placed at all. That's a 60% failure rate.

On all three occasions, I have been left without vital medication for several days, and even once an entire week.

Their disorganisation/apathy is dangerous, and I would urge everyone against registering there.

I called to check if my prescription had arrived. The pharmacist took my name and date of birth and told me nothing was there. When I challenged her, she suddenly said “let me download” and then admitted one item had in fact been received — so she lied to me at first.

When I told her I’d come in 15 minutes to collect it, she snapped back rudely saying, “I am doing other stuff now, I am not a robot machine.” This is completely unprofessional. Patients depend on pharmacies for essential medication and should not be spoken to like this.
