I was happy with the chocolate cake and custard the first time I had it, chocolatey and moist. However, when I ordered this the second time, it was not the one. It tasted a bit bitter. I was craving chocolate cake and this did not satisfy me one bit. There are other better options out there, even a Tesco/Co op chocolate cake does a better job. I’d suggest saving your money. I thought I’d give them another try and try their biscoff milk cake. I would advise not to go for this option. The cream does not taste like fresh cream that is essential for a milk cake. It was a heavy thick more like butter cream layer, which does not work. The milk doesn’t seem flavoured like it should with condensed milk and evaporated milk. Highly disappointed especially being priced at £7. I was forcing myself to eat this, I couldn’t finish it and it was definitely a waste of calories. I should have used the £7 to buy the ingredients and make my own milk cake (which tastes 100x better). I have also tried the desi breakfast which was far from edible. The has brown was not crispy, moist and nasty. The eggs were hardly flavour (why’s it called a desi breakfast?!) I did not finish this and was so unsatisfied, I had to go to Cafe Astro and order an English breakfast to have a breakfast that I could actually swallow. This also meant I spent more than planned due to this. I will not be returning.

Sprinkles in Bethnal Green is a dessert spot with a lot of promise, but unfortunately, it doesn’t quite live up to expectations. The shop has a wide range of offerings, from ice creams and waffles to milkshakes and sundaes, all of which are reasonably priced. The decor is pleasant, with a modern and cosy vibe that makes it an inviting place to hang out with friends or family. However, any excitement you might feel upon entering quickly fades due to the incredibly slow service. On my visit, the shop wasn't particularly busy, yet the wait time was excruciatingly long. After placing my order, it took what felt like an eternity for my dessert to arrive. There was no explanation or apology for the delay, which only added to the frustration. It's clear that there’s a significant issue with how the place is run, whether it's understaffing or inefficiencies in the kitchen. When the dessert finally arrived, it was fine but far from exceptional.Overall, Sprinkles has a lot of potential with its variety of menu options and comfortable setting, but the slow service really drags the experience down. It’s hard to recommend this place unless you have a lot of time on your hands and don’t mind waiting. If they could sort out their service issues, it might be worth a visit, but as it stands, there are better dessert spots in the area.

Popped in during the morning hours. Welcomed very kindly by staff. Ordering was really easy. Beautiful place to sit in and eat. The food arrived very quick and was really good temperature ready to eat. I ordered the desi breakfast which I really recommend comes with a yummy delicious chai (tea). I enjoyed the food so much and the food was made exactly as I requested. The staff were very professional and have excellent communication skills. Very friendly environment. I will defo be visiting again. Do check this place out. It is very easily accessible and wheelchair friendly. Lovely and spacious. Very clean and well organized. NEW UPDATE 3 JUNE 2024 Was served by Hafiz again he served me very nicely very respectful and very clean. I only come when he is at the shop because I know he makes the food just the way I want it and exactly how I want it. Please keep this guy in the shop! He is amazing and he's always taking my feedback on improving and he's very good with children, my son is autistic and he was so kind and respectful towards him. Fantastic service Hafiz! Keep up the good work!
