Went to collect a pizza order for someone else (total cost £6.99) and I gave the Chinese guy that works there £10 and he gave me £3 change when he should have given me £3.01. I asked him for the 1p change and he said he did not have a 1p or 2p (could be lying as I could not see what was inside the cash register till. Or they deliberately do not keep 1p and 2p coins in the cash register till so that they can keep your 1p and 2p change. If I was not collecting the order for someone else and I had ordered the pizza for myself, I would have dumped the pizza on the counter and took my £10 pounds back and left the shop. It's unacceptable that they think they do not need to give you the correct change. The customer is always entitled to the correct change. If they do this to every customer (depending on how busy they are) they are making a tidy sum every month and it is not their money to keep. If they don't have 1p and 2p coins in their cash register till, then they should go to a shop and get some. No excuse.
Anyone who is thinking of visiting this Domino's Pizza shop in Bethnal Green, make sure you get your change, period. Do not allow yourself to be cheated by this shop or any shop, regardless of how small the amount is.
I have just added this Domino's pizza shop to my blacklist and would never visit...

I've been a customer for along time at this branch, however one of the managers there was so rude to me when he made my order wrong.
I asked for less cheese on one pizza, and they gave me what seemed to be extra cheese - it had more cheese than the pizza with normal amount of cheese.
I even overheard the guy cutting pizza ask 'is this supposed to be light cheese?', and the manager just told him to cut it and give it to me.
I asked the manager to look at my pizza, and he told me that it was less cheese, even though there was more than the regular pizza. I asked him if he would look at it and remake my pizza, but he said 'no, go to head office for a refund'.
Possibly the worst customer service I've ever had from a Domino's, and definitely not how they teach you to treat customers. When I worked there the managers would have had a heart attack if anyone treated a customer that way.
Now, according to them, I've made 'numerous and repetitive complaints', which simply isn't true, as I've ordered from there maybe 20 times this year alone with zero complaints.
Awful customer...
Read more24.06.2025 A lady mamager called me 4 weeks ago and apologised for the below and as an offer of goodwill said next time I phoned we could have 2 free large pizzas. Phoned half hour ago and it was not honoured because the man that answered said that lady isn't at work today. How hard would it have been to leave a memo with our name and address stating what was agreed. Would give this shop a no star rating if I could, AVOID AT ALL COSTS....
4 weeks ago as below Vegetarian with beef lovely, potato wedges lovely. Margarita was black burnt and appeared to have been sitting around a fair while before it was boxed up. Called to let them know so some other customers do not get burnt pizza. Wasn't after money back. Man I spoke to in the shop wouldn't give the name of the manager so hopefully he sees this. Got offered another pizza to be sent out free, declined because that experience was enough not to recommend or use this branch of Dominoes again. He explained that this is normal because it has no toppings! Avoid...
