Took a 1 hour train ride to London for a haircut. First time in the hair salon, was assigned a young female hairdresser Terrible experience. Very rough during hair wash and haircut. She violently pressed my head down and shaved my hair roughly. Dont know how many times she hit my head. Skills were terrible, was painful at certain point of time, seems like she is pulling out my hair rather than cutting. One of the worst haircut experiences I ever had in my life. Don't think she knows what she is doing and haircut look far different from the picture. Skills of a beginner. Wanted to get out of that chair as quickly as possible. Almost walk out the shop crying, thankfully Jimmy came in to save the day. Jimmy was in contrast delicate with amazing skills and gave me what I wanted. I went to this salon in October 2022 for a haircut, wash and blowdry. I had high hopes as I read so many positive reviews. Unfortunately, the older gentleman cutting my hair did not listen to what I asked for and was rather curt. I asked for wispy feathered bangs but he just cut straight across giving me an extremely thick and heavy fringe. I would not recommend this salon unless you speak fluent Korean as I saw the other customers next to me receive better service and an in-depth consultation whilst my visit was quite rushed. I thought the man's technique was good but he totally missed the mark on what I asked for and gave the impression that he didn't care. I am a real cheapskate and always vowed not to pay more then £30 for a haircut. I stumbled across this salon and decided to give it a try as they have a discount for first time customers - never regretted that chance decision. The haircuts are fantastic and even though the cost is more than I would normally pay I think it is more than reasonable given the quality of the cut and experience. I will not get my haircut anywhere else even in desperation after the lock down! Iwon gives the best haircut I have ever had and I happily take her advice on how best to cut it.
