Mama Chen's Dumplings — Local services in London

We went to the new Mamachen cafe in the Gantry Hotel in the Olympic Park today and it was great. So nice to have dumplings that are fresh made and not out of the freezer. Food that actually tastes fresh and great as opposed to being just pimped for instagram. They also do really great cheung fun, szeuchuan noodles and spicy cucumber salad. The olympic park really needs a good chinese restaurant so I hope Mamachen stays in its new home. Will be back to try the wonton...

Can’t fault it, the dumplings themselves are delicious, they cook from frozen within minutes and the presentation was adorable! It came packaged with chopsticks and a little card with instructions and suggestions as to how to cook and serve them, which was really handy. And can’t forget a lovely handwritten thank you note, can really feel the love that went into making them. I’m definitely going to order...

I ordered the Full Moon Tasting menu which was a mix of all that Mama Chen’s have to offer. It arrived beautifully presented and comes with cooking instructions which are super simple to follow. The dumplings were delicious! The Prawn Siu Mai were my favourites, can’t wait to order more!...
