The first Mclarens Christmas Pudding we have had and it definitely won’t be the last. It will be Mclarens for our Christmas Pudding from now on. These Christmas puddings are on another level they are exceptional.

All the family agreed unanimously that it was the nicest tasting Christmas Pudding we have ever tasted. Was beautifully moist, and was light in texture and you could taste all the rich fruit and the butter in it and the brandy. Whereas with some Christmas Puddings the booze over powers the rest of the flavours.

The Mclarens Christmas Pudding had the perfect amount and balance of all the ingredients without one over powering the other.

I saw this at the Good Food Show at the NEC and as my maiden name is McLaren, I thought it would be perfect to try. I was not disappointed. It was actually so very like my Nan's recipe (Nanna McLaren), light and bursting with fruit and full of flavour. Not bitty and hard nuts, it was a beautiful blend and a total delight to eat. This leaves any other brand we have tried in the dust and also many homemade ones too.
