HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 6 star The best decision I have ever made on this trip is booking the afternoon tea at Royal Albert Hall. The venue has a lovely and intimate atmosphere, and I particularly love the elegant tea set. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a gracious lady who escorted us to our table, followed by a gentleman who presented the menu, he was so nice, respectful and attentive. The quality of the food was exceptional; we have visited several afternoon tea establishments in London, ranging from high-end to more casual options, and this experience stands out as the best in terms of both culinary offerings and service. Thank you for making our experience so memorable today.

We are somewhat of an afternoon tea enthusiasts. Having tried many afternoon teas in London over the years, RAH comes almost towards the bottom. The bread used for sandwiches was crumbly and felt stale (although didn't smell such). The fillings in the sandwiches was spare and as nondescript as, say, baked beans. The only item at acceptable standards as expected from such a place was scones and clotted cream. I had earl grey tea and I think the water was just luke warm resulting in such a weak brew that the tea had almost no colour or flavour. We tried the vegetarian/vegan afternoon teas - maybe the meat based version is better. But, at £49 per person it's totally not worth it.

A chilled and charming afternoon. Music from the stars in the background and the setting in the restaurant Coda within the Royal Albert Hall were the finishing touches but the tea, finger sandwiches and cake were some if the best we’ve had. Beautifully presented, great choice, and with excellent service from Carla - warm welcome, just the right amount of attention and explanation, making sure everything was just perfect.

An absolute must, particularly after the guided tour! Make sure to book both in advance. Special thanks to Carla and Diego, who made my first-afternoon-tea-time ever so memorable and enjoyable. The price doesn't even come close to the fulfillment of it all. Ambient music, sometimes alongside real-time performing music from the actual hall (which made it the more immersive), heavenly treated and taken care of, let alone the absolute scrumptious meals. Being by myself and so unused to such treats it felt like I was under some high-class self-love potion, whose ultimate side effects are soul-soothing and heart-healing (and of course tummy-treating). I felt like Alice in her own wonderland. All in all, a culinary experience...
