The most elitist poshest organisation ever, went to the museum today and saw a exhibition of Ugandan landscape photographs, the pictures of Ugandans who probably had no permission to have their images taken and now being sold in a so called museum. Museum seems to make money out of poor Africans without giving back to Uganda. At the same exhibition next door they were holding a private members only 'Invest In Zimbabwe' event when I asked if I can attend I mean it was at entrance no sign it was for only for posh white people to attend, their Bengali security guard was ready to pounce on me for asking. As I left the man and security guard were sneering at me I suppose they are not used to BAME people visiting. According to RGS black people are supposed to have poverty photos on display for well traveled people to ogle at. Staff are extremely posh and look like they have never interacted with BAME people unless they are cleaners or...

Amazing place and probably overlooked by many locals and tourists. The names on the walls or explorers was incredible and shows our expansion into an empire. All the names qe see and learn about at school and on TV programmes. Definitely more than any other country for discovering the world. You may say that Star Trek got is motto from the NGS. Earth the final frontier......... we don't know enough about our British explorers and should be told about more in history and geography lessons. I was lucky enough to go to a private event and talk there. Find out more about the NGS and go and...

I am judging this venue entirely due to how userfriendly it is as a supplier. I DO love a loading bay. And this one could not be more convenient. Right behind the venue which is still on an easily accessible main road next to Hyde Park. The room that gets used for dinners is literally just inside the door of the loading bay. So when you have candelabra and large floral displays to handle, this could not be more convenient. Staff if friendly and the collection arrangements were flexible and agreeable to all. Thank you for having us. We would very much...

Made the effort of travelling to London to see the memorial display for Sir Ernest Shackleton, which has free entry and is very accessible. I especially enjoyed the recordings of the sounds of blizzard winds in Antarctica that were playing the entire time that Sally Service Hound and I were there. Sally and I had the place to ourselves except for one other patron. Highly recommended and sadly it closes in early May, so be quick if you wish to see this nod to a very important historical event!
