Royal Albert Hall Café Bar — Restaurant in London

GLUTEN FREE WARNING! I have given this place 1 star rather than 0 because they had gluten-free options, sweet and savoury. But the sandwich was awful, as was my husbands regular sandwich. When I looked at my cake, which they took from the display and put inside a bag, I realised they had used the same tongs they use for all of the cakes. I had normal cake crumbs and jam on my cake!! I did get it changed, but they really didn't seem to care or comprehend the damage it could have done, instead claiming I shouldn't eat there if I am so sensitive?! They were literally serving me food I am allergic to, despite me telling them at the time...

Don’t bother! Arrived to meet a friend after a long journey (I used to be a regular on Saturdays a couple of years ago) only to be told once I’d come through security that although there wasn’t anybody at all sitting in the café, I couldn’t grab a quick drink whilst waiting for my friend because they had a show on later! And…?! Really?! Will not be visiting again and do not recommend anyone wastes their time for the café on the off chance they may be allowed in if there isn’t a show!...

We visited the Royal Albert Hall Cafe Bar in London and had the rose and lychee cake and it was just too sweet for my partner I wished it was balanced out with some lemon to cut through that sweetness. We came in on a busy day of touring and the staff were doing the best they could. I loved the presentation of the cakes and there were a lot of seats however the wifi was non-existent for paying customers.
