Without a doubt The Cigar Merchant at the Connaught Hotel in Mairfair is not to be missed. It's a small intimate setting with a selection of New World to rare cigars which any coneseur must appreciate. While you're there, you're ordering drinks from the 8th ranked bar in the world. One of the best Old Fashioned I have ever had. On this evening, we had the good fortune to meet Antonio who was our host. He is extremely knowledgeable and a delight to be around. Also, the filtration system is one not to be rivaled. It works from the floor to the ceiling and when you go home nothing smells like smoke. Even your lady friends who prefer not to be around smoke would find it acceptable. I couldn't recommend a better evening at the best place that stays open until 1am, 7 days a week.
