I think this place deserves a higher rating and that reviewers are mainly upset about the prices. The service here is really good and professional. They have different coffee beans for your coffee drink When I complained about the coffee being a bit on the milky-side, the hostess immediately offered to replace my cappuccino but I refused bcuz I was still able to taste the significant coffee flavor. I ordered pizza truffle , it was the most expensive option in their menu. I liked it but a bit skeptical about the used cheese. Was it goat cheese? Am not cheese expert I wished if I try it with different cheese. Maybe the chef used it to balance the taste, otherwise the truffle would empower the pizza way too much. Honey tamed down the flavors of salty cheese and truffle, but frankly the taste of thyme was almost absent. The dough is super thin, crusty edges with soggier center. Loved the contrast in texture! The speed and quality of service reminded me of the service in my hometown . Again, Keep in mind that the restaurant is pricy, therefore don’t go there if you don’t want to spend, get surprised by the bill and then leave a negative review. I would come again to try their croissant 🥐 and coffee. The atmosphere is lovely with the workers moving...

I’ve been here a few times. The first Time I had the smoked salmon bagel. It was pretty terrible and I left most of it. The tonka been Madeline was great tho so thought I’d come back to try more options. I came last week for avocado toast with the option to have poached eggS - said it was 18 Pounds on the menu she asked if I wanted one or two- I thought it was odd but said 2. They they up charged me and it was 24 pounds for avocado toast with poached eggs- if it was only one egg it should say with a poached egg !! No s - 24 pounds for a mouthful (sooo tiny) with 15 percent service charge was an absolute rip off! I asked for a cookie to go and they charged me 15 percent service in that too! They gave me a free cookie because I complained about the up charge but said that’s the price it is. Guess what you can keep it! I won’t be back! This place should be called London’s most overpriced cafe. Also because the ambience isn’t even great they try to cram everyone into one room they tried to wedge me at a counter but I insisted on a table would have been so mad if I paid 35 pounds for my measly meal at a...

Price: Price depends on coffee beans, but the whole thing costs like £75 and was half full (tbh we ordered for 2 ppl) this inc:

2 x latte (i think they are £8 each? i couldn’t check because the menu link in their website is broken and will transfer to a russian website 😂) but price differs depends on which one you pick. i think there’s a coffee bean that costs like £25 for a latte. also i found it interesting that latte and espresso are the same price. makes me wonder what milk they used 😂 1 x stracciatella with truffle waffle (it is REALLY nice but there’s only half. it could be a little bit more generous with portion since waffle is cheap to make and also it is a bit weird when you pay £24 for it and the dish is half empty. Understand that it’s the truffle that’s expensive but it really looks weird imo (?) 1 x Croque Madame (the one with sunny egg) and 1 x hideaway lobster roll not much “wow” factor for this price.

Stracciatella with truffle is really nice, but for this price i might as well go for the Hide restaurant for their tasting menu

i guess their...

Food: I ordered the croque madame, I liked the egg how it cooked however, the toast was burned leading to a burned taste. I enjoyed the middle of the toast, it was yummy because it is not burned. I like that they have various origins of coffee, that you can choose from. I have ordered Ethiopian beans with milk. It was ok, it could be even better if the barista steamed the milk with a 60-65° instead of making it extra hot ( the barista was informed already that I need it warm not extra hot). Service: Welcoming could have been better. The waiter was very nice and helpful and the waitress came to me if I would like to add any order before they close. However, the team was not organized very well to manage the place. in addition, the barista attitude wasn't professional. Things need to be organized better to provide a better service that could match the beauty of the details and the prices and the level that the business is targeting. Atmosphere: I like the details of the place, music and the ceiling lighting.
