We ordered a 6-seater teak table and folding chairs (2 with arms and 4 without). It was very well packaged, with the table wrapped as one unit and the chairs tightly in pairs with lots of bubble wrap and outer coverings to ensure there was no damage in transit. The first thing we noticed when we unwrapped them was the high quality and grade of the teak wood.

There were a couple of issues that we were not 100% happy about but it was simple to contact Ottena and when explained that we would prefer to replace the four chairs without arms for four with arms (with an acceptable small upwards price adjustment) and a few of the allan-key adjustable bolts, this was all arranged without any fuss.

I purchased a teak table about 13 Months ago at considerable cost. This table showed signs of distress when it arrived. However, this was acceptable to us. Over the months this table disintegrated and became unusable. From my observations the tonged and groved construction of the table top was defective. They are not taking phone calls and so far have not responded to my email on this matter.
