1871 Bar — Restaurant in London

Can’t rate the food as we didn’t have any! However our experience was certainly 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on arrival we had a warm welcome and was shown to our table by a really friendly member of staff, she handed us over to our lovely waitress, Caitlin who was super lovely and efficient she was also aided by Michael who did a sterling job of keeping my glass of wine topped up! 😉 I can’t recommend this bar and it’s staff highly enough. This was our first time at the royal Albert hall. Having booked a pre concert table in bay 1871, we were greeted and looked after by Karl who was amazing!! Courteous, prompt, extremely informative giving detailed descriptions and history of the items on the menu. He was truly an asset, a marvel at his job and he made the whole experience extra special (no I haven't been paid! Lol). The bar was magical, absolutely loved the eclectic furnishings. The cocktails and bar snacks are really nice. I just disagree with the fact that they added a donation to the RAH to the bill without asking us or telling us. I am a musician and strongly believe in supporting the arts and concert halls of course, but think it should be done voluntarily and not by tricking or guilting people into giving money. That is my only complain but it did affect my experience and view of the bar. Also, the cocktails are a bit small...
