Me and my friends have been a regular buyers from Tian Tian Canary Wharf and my latest experience there (3rd March 2023 at 4:30pm) was absolutely shocking. Me and my friends were discriminated against by security and staff. They refused our entry into the shop as they dont allow more than 3 students at a time, however, allow 3 white students into the shop. As we alert the security about this, he decides to scream ‘get out of the store’ and dismisses what we have to say. Me and my friends are confused and distressed as this security knows us as we are already regular buyers but still decides to discriminate against us, claiming he has never liked ‘our group’. Shortly after, a robbery takes place in their store by two other adolescent girls, completely irrelevant to us. However, as we proceed with our shopping, he tell us to get out the store, only us no one else in the store, associating us with the incident. As we are being targeted by security and staff we notice people begin crowding to watch, we are filled with embarrassment. At this point, he is now physically pushing us out of the store, so we begin to leave. This is wrong and made us very uncomfortable and excluded from everyone else in the store. i feel as though i was treated as an animal, being shepherd out of the store. i feel uncomfortable purchasing from this store and helping their business grow as i have been. This security needs to be fired and staff involved...
Read moreI usually don’t complain and I always notice how hard staff work, but I want to share an experience I had at this branch. Most of the employees here are very kind and helpful, but unfortunately one particular staff member (short hair, possibly Asian, I didn’t remember his name probably name start with S) has treated me rudely on several occasions. On one visit, I was waiting for the lift because of a leg problem, and instead of speaking politely, she pushed past me with cages. Another time, when I asked her about a product, she dismissed me rudely and said the store didn’t sell it — but later another employee confirmed it was available. On a more recent visit, when I went to her till, she didn’t greet me, didn’t thank me, and behaved in a very unprofessional way. and I didn’t finish my payment as well. And she saw one guy or something else. Called him to. same at counter. I didn’t finish my pay. That was so rude.
When I asked if I could speak with a supervisor, she told me she was the supervisor, which surprised me. If that is the case, I honestly feel this branch needs stronger leadership, because customer service like this is very disappointing.
I want to be clear: most staff here are wonderful and work very hard. This feedback is only about this one employee. Unfortunately, because of her repeated rudeness, I have decided not to shop at this branch anymore and will go to a...
Read moreDuring my visit, I attempted to scan my membership card, but it did not go through. This issue had occurred previously, and I was informed that it was related to an update. Following the steps a staff member had previously guided me through, I attempted to update my membership, but it did not work this time. I then sought assistance from a staff member, who was at the counter. However, when the issue kept coming up, his attitude became increasingly impatient and dismissive. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name, but he was very tall and possibly of Asian descent. At one point, he pulled the screen towards me and stated, “Yes, I can try, but it won’t work.” When the update failed again, he appeared irritated and unwilling to provide an explanation, instead directing me to contact the technical team. He urged me to complete my payment while displaying a clear lack of patience. Even after I confirmed that everything was fine, he continued to stare at me with visible frustration. Feeling uncomfortable, I asked if there was a problem, as his attitude made it seem like he was upset with me for no reason. In response, he rolled his eyes, exclaimed, “Oh my God!” and then completely ignored me. His behaviour was not only unprofessional but also...
