Beautiful architecture. We went for Open Doors Day so we got a talk explaining various aspects of the synagogue. We were lucky enough to hear a small choir while there. The acoustics are evident, and it must be amazing with a full choir.

There are also displays in the archival rooms below, including the history of Jews immigration to Glasgow, including, of course, the sad history of immigration during WWII.

All the staff there were super friendly and answered lots...

I visited Garnethill Synagogue on an Open Day, and was received with great warmth and enthusiasm. We were given a tour and attended a presentation on the life of a young Scottish Jewish soldier in WWI, which was quite interesting.
