Crispiest fish ever! A lovely plaice (if you pardon the pun). My family and I were able to dine in since they had two tables, each seating four people. It had a cheerful and relaxing atmosphere with a nautical/ocean decor theme: lots of nautical trinkets and ocean theme decorations, and even a beautiful painting! The staff were very welcoming and cheerful. My family and I ordered the cod and chips and the plaice and chips - they were lovely and crispy, with a tasty, fresh flavour. We were staying for one night in a pub nearby and one of the customers recommended this fish & chip shop - and we were so glad they did! We sat in (there are 2 tables with 4 chairs each) and the food is brought out on delightful fish shaped plates :-)

We had the 'OAP size fish & chips' and it was plenty for us. Everything was cooked fresh and was delicious. The batter is the best I've ever tasted - really crunchy and 'smooth' (if batter can be described as smooth) and really tasty. Seriously, the batter is insanely good!
