Today, I visited Lounge with my friend to support her in finding a bra following the birth of her child. I had personally recommended Lounge based on my own positive experiences with both the quality of your products and the professionalism of your staff. Unfortunately, the experience my friend had today fell far below the standard Iāve come to associate with your brand.
After being measured, my friend was handed a bra by a staff member who then walked over to a colleague. Right in front of us, she whispered something while covering her mouth, and the two began laughing. This was incredibly upsettingāespecially for someone who is already feeling vulnerable and self-conscious about her postpartum body. The behavior felt dismissive and hurtful.
When my friend asked for help with the fit, she was simply told, āItās fine, it fits fine,ā with no real support or guidance offered. We ultimately returned to the store to return the bra due to the way she was treated.
When we requested to speak with the manager, the same two staff members exchanged a look and smirked, responding mockingly, āOh, the managerā¦ā Even while my friend was explaining the situation to the manager, the staff continued to look over and behave in a condescending and disrespectful manner.
I do want to acknowledge that the manager herself was lovelyākind, attentive, and professional. Her handling of the situation was appreciated. However, the overall experience was deeply disappointing and has unfortunately left a lasting negative impression.
I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate action is taken to ensure that future customers are treated with the care and respect...

As soon as me and my partner walked into the store we noticed a couple of pieces that I liked, but without Kianaās help, knowledge and support the outcome and takeaways from this experience would not have been the same.
Kiana actively listened regarding style and colour providing multiple options and advice on the range and how I might find different bras fit before matching my size perfectly. Whilst trying on manyyyy different sets being in the store for over an hour, Kiana not only took her time to talk me through the fit, my concerns and made adaptations but showed true kindness, patience making the experience a lot more human sharing many laughs along the way whilst giving me the space to feel valid but also reshape the meaning of shopping postpartum.
Other staff joined in on the laughs and collaborated seamlessly with Kiana when asked to create an amazing customer experience for both me and my partner whilst on the shop floor.
Iāve been a customer at other competitors and will only shop with Lounge from now on as that type of customer service is rare these days.

Tried on some stuff which were nice enough but didnāt feel like I got much guidance and help, given that I was buying Ā£100 sets. The girls were all stood around chatting instead of serving customers and they were practically ignoring everyone. The way they were stood seemed as if they were judging the customers and I didnāt particularly feel comfortable in there. I showed some sets I saw online which I liked, to which the lady said they didnāt have in store.
On the way out, I saw they could have ordered them on a tablet for me and showed me different options that way, but after I said I wasnāt sure on the corset set I tried on, they ignored me for the rest of the time.
As mentioned, I was ready to spend a large sum of money on different items and I would have appreciated the service, as I will have been more inclined to purchase in this case.
