We wanted to love this shop! We fell in love with the beautiful atmosphere. We bought a Italian designer dress a full 11 months before the wedding I've been assured by local seamstress's that our alterations were in fact basic. 6 fittings later & 2 weeks before the wedding our dress was hacked into a mere memory of what my daughter envisioned. Nicole never wrote anything down, so every time we came in for a fitting, barely anything was ever completed. I started leaving the same detailed lists with Maria, as a double check, along with photos and even that only helped keep them on track minimally. They promised us a certain veil, then we showed up to see a rectangular shaped piece of lace sewn onto the bottom of a curved veil. They did take it off, only to replace it with another piece of lace, that was also NOT what was promised, even though I showed them a photo previously. 3 weeks before the wedding Maria offered to try and find the promised lace(even though Nicole told us they did not have it any more) but by this time we were so disillusioned with their service I told them to please sew it on so that we were sure to have something in time. The neck was lowered, only to find it was higher on one side during the next fitting. Each new fitting visit we arrived to find that the owner had never completed what we requested the week before, even though that initial list never changed. The worst part came a mere 2-3 weeks before the wedding. During our previous visit Nicole had bustled the gown perfectly with a beautiful criss-cross bustle and pinned it so that she could sew it in place. Both my daughter and I saw it and commented that it would work perfectly. I immediately relayed what Nicole promised to Maria, hoping that between the 2 of them, we would see the desired alteration the next week. We arrived the following week to see nothing done, and were then told by Nicole, that the dress could NOT be bustled! We were told our only choice was to cut off train! We were dumbfounded! We reminded her that she had it pinned the previous week exactly how we wanted it! But she insisted it could not be done and said our only option was to cut off the train! The once beautiful designer Italian lace dress would now become only a portion of what my daughter had envisioned, 2 weeks before her wedding. I called Maria the next day to ask how the dress would now be hemmed since I assumed they would never take that beautiful see through lace and hem it straight across the bottom with hem tape. Maria assured me she would work with Nicole to make sure that wouldn't be done and agreed that it would look horrible. Fast forward to our next visit only to see that beautiful lace bottom hemmed straight across the bottom with a horrible white hem tape instead of leaving it raw! At least 3 times we were promised help with the chest area and no-one ever came through. We had to find a solution ourselves. Before we even bought the dress we asked if some of the see-through-ness could be fixed and were repeatedly told it would be no problem. Some had been taken care of, but then, during the last visit, 2 weeks before the wedding when we asked that a small piece of the chest area be covered, Nicole again told us that nothing could be done! Maria kindly jumped in and said that 2 small pieces of lace could be sewn in to cover the area. The owner, Nicole, told us that she didn't have time to do it since she had 2 other dresses to do! Mind you-it was 2 weeks before the wedding and we had been in for at least 5 other fittings where much did not get done! We even rescheduled one of our appointments so they could work on a different wedding party that week that needed attention. Then when WE needed a few extra moments, Nicole wanted us to come back for a 7th time! What started out being the most meaningful part of my daughters wedding preparation ended up being the most angst producing, negative memory that my daughter will never forget. My experience at Nicole Bridal was truly so special. My mom took me here as soon as I got engaged, just as her and her mom did. For context, my mom also found her perfect dress here about 40 years ago. I find this is very unique today in a world of doing everything online and often limited face to face contact. Not only did I need a perfect dress for me, but for my destination wedding in Positano. Not a small task given I was looking for something very specific - elegant, but not too formal; sophisticated and classy, yet also the right “look” for a wedding with its reception right off the beach. AND the task of ensuring it was church appropriate. Without hesitation, Nicole Bridal’s team knew exactly what I envisioned from the start. Frankly, they had the right vision for me before even I did. Once my Italian Andrea Sedici dress was secured, the process was made easy. I was given custom alteration options, all of which were executed exactly to my taste and liking. Though this is notoriously a stressful process, the team handled me and my requests with utmost professionalism and care. My end result was more than I could have ever wanted, and I am so thankful to the team who helped me navigate through this process, making it as stress free as possible. I had hands down thee BEST bridal experience ever at Nicole Bridal! There wasn’t a single shop in South Jersey that offered a wide range of dresses like Nicole Bridal, and this was my first boutique in the Pennsylvania area. There wasn’t even a reason to go to my next appointment that day, which I called to cancel immediately!

If you’re looking for a unique wedding dress, one that speaks to your personality or vibe -you have to book this boutique for sure. This was the first time I was met with such a positive vibe given my timeframe to find a dress. Maria was so warm and welcoming! We embraced instantly and she looked at me and said, “Let’s find you a dress”! Even though the moment I walked in, I had already mentally said YES!! My dream wedding dress was on a mannequin as soon as I walked in the door & I knew it was THE ONE. My gown was love at first sight, literally!

Maria did not let me stop just there, she said “We have more options in the back”. And that, she did! There were so many beautiful European couture gowns, I was like a kid in a candy shop! I hadn’t seen any dresses like these before in the days leading up to this appointment. That was the first time I tried on 8 or more gowns in one sitting!
