The Plaza Apartments — Local services in Abington Township

It’s been almost two years since I moved into The Plaza from my 3 story house in Wyncote, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. My apartment is large and roomy with lots of closet space and a private balcony with a great view. I originally chose The Plaza because of its convenience to everything I wanted: the Jenkintown train station, medical facilities, supermarkets, neighborhood restaurants. But just since I've been here, they’ve added so much more. The remodeled Social Room is a communal area for card games, mahjong, craft projects, book clubs, watching TV and bingo twice a month, etc. We can go to the movies every day if we choose in our new plush theater, and the frequent planned day trips are always fun and interesting. My 2 1/2 years living at The Plaza has been wonderful. I have made so many new friends and we have developed a true community. The staff are very responsive to reasonable suggestions and quite willing to accommodate maintenance requests. The community room and the theater have generated a number of outstanding activities for all residents. Scheduled pool side dinners hosted by the Plaza and a continental breakfast event have been a big success. The transition to a considerable number of infrastructure improvements went smoothly and have upgraded the shared living spaces. The one constructive comment I would make is that every effort should be made to have the pool open during season without the 3:30 to 4:30 disruption we endured last summer. The Place looks so lovely since the renovations were done We all love the Social Room where we have lots of fun

The Staff is there for us when a problem we see And how thankful we are when there is no fee

Oh the benches outside, what a great thrill We love sitting on them even though there's a chill
