The employees here lack common sense and are rude as anything. They said all three of my friends ids were fake, they were very real. They said the FEEL of them was fake and they didn’t even check in the light, ask for a second form of id, or try and confirm dob or address. I should’ve called the police. They are all unprofessional and jerks. I will never give them service. I’d love for my friends to prove with their government issued second forms of id that those were indeed their real birthdays. Complete and total idiots here. The clown that owns this place wants to pretend that all four licenses were deemed “fake” when it was only the new jersey licenses. my pa license was fine. Him saying all four were fake proves he has no idea what happened and he didn’t even look at the ids. Also saying a license is fake just by the FEEL, means you don’t know what you’re doing. Go somewhere where the bartenders know the difference between a real and a fake id. Also, this Kimberly woman leaving a review about us shouldn’t be taken seriously considering she had no part in this and I don’t even believe she was there when the...
Read moreAs a bar/beer hall this place is great. The previous German food was hit or miss though I loved being able to order on the app (super easy to come with a group). It’s now a Mexican cantina and the food is delicious, there is wait staff which was good on a quiet night, but took forever to get food on a busy night. It’ll take some time to work out the kinks. The guacamole was honestly so good, homemade chips that were literally perfect. Queso fundido was also tasty as were the tacos pescados and birria. Passionfruit agua Fresca was great as was the elote. Was not a fan of the mole enchiladas, very smoky sauce was a texture I didn’t love. The owner was so nice and offered to let us switch it out when she realized we weren’t crazy about it, but everything was good otherwise so didn’t bother. Only other thing i wasn’t crazy about was the rice and beans (white rice). Overall a major upgrade and I’m looking forward to going back, just not on a Saturday night. I’d love if you could still order on the app for the upstairs while keeping waiter...
Read moreI already had a bad feeling when the website forced me into ToastTab instead of just letting me see a PDF menu. When we were greeted with the news we’d have to order via QR code, we weren’t surprised as we could already see where we were heading. Then, we couldn’t submit our order before tipping in advance for service we hadn’t even received yet and never really did. $65 later, we had two ok appetizers - Brussels were relatively tasty but way too greasy; pretzel bites were fine - and two Beyond Burgers we could have done a better job of making at home for a fraction of the price, served with a side of room temperature, flavorless fries with a tiny, wholly insufficient cup of ketchup. Oh, and if you want a soft drink, you’ll pay dearly for a can. I got Acme store brand seltzer for $1.75, so if you’re the designated driver, you’ll have that to look forward to. Go for beers, but...
