Five Below — Local services in Acworth

I asked the associate to help me locate a product I found online (it says available in store for pick up). She checked where she thought it might be and said that it’s either sold out, or could be in the back, and it would take a long time for someone to go through “a lot of stuff” to find it. I told her it says that it is available for pick up, so it’s in the store somewhere, and if I just placed a pick up order it would be the same thing, and someone would still have to find it in the back anyway. And instead of helping me find it while I’m already there standing in the middle of the store, she told me that I’d have a better chance of getting it if I went ahead and placed a pick up order. I never ever leave poor reviews for anywhere, because I know we’re all just trying to make a living. But I found this to be incredibly rude. Zero problem solving skills, zero customer service. I love this store, but please for the love of everything, stop training your employees to hover over people at checkout! Last time I was there, no exaggeration, the worker came up & explained the scanning like usual. So then, I think she’s going to go back to her podium. No, she stood (no joke) not a foot from me, handling & commenting on almost everything I was buying. Also very oddly holding them out for me to scan them. I came shopping here on 06/10/23 and the black elder lady that was working at the self checkout was so rude and assumed that we left a balance of $5.88 at a self checkout machine when in fact we checked out at a different one. She didn’t even ask which machine we checked out at and just asked to see the receipt without telling us what about as going on.
