Lasting Bridal Couture — Local services in Addison

I visited yesterday with my mom, sister and future mother in law. We arrived at my appointment a little bit early, and took some time to browse the selection. At this time, I had purchased a non refundable evening gown last weekend, for $200 at a different store, and immediately felt a little but of buyer's remorse as it just wasn't THE dress.

First, I will say the assortment of gowns blew me away here. Everything is arranged by price point as well. Each rack was super organized & made browsing a piece of cake. I was already feeling some relief by this point - considering this was my final appointment at a boutique to meet with, just from walking in the door.

Kristin came around the corner shortly after we arrived, also earlier than my schedule 3:30 appointment, and called out for me in such a delightful tone. This is SO important to me as I've found it's all about the first impressions at these bridal appointments - they're attitude will really make or break the duration of the experience. I've been to at least 6 other store and boutiques and felt more like I was inconveniencing them or was being rushed. Not here, and definitely not with Kristin. She is so kind & patient, very helpful and incredibly detail oriented - she payed attention to me and my party 100% of the time, so she was able to remember what likes/dislikes I had about each gown as I narrowed it down to 1. Seems like a lot of the ladies who work here are truly there to offer amazing input & customer service!

My sister ran next door to get some bubbly, per the suggestion and OK by the manager (they even offered us champagne flutes!). She opened it - it overflowed a bit out of the bottle onto the floor. But, they were so nice to immediately help her clean it up, didn't make us feel bad about it, and continued to offer excellent service!

I bought my dress here and am anxiously awaiting for it to be delivered. It's a bit of a ways out, but, it's worth it. I can't wait! I would recommend this little gem to anyone in the DFW area. It's worth the drive if you're not located in North Dallas or Addison area! They offered a fabulous assortment of great quality dresses, an educated, attentive staff and just a wonderful experience all together. Bonus: they have plenty of seating available, so you're party isn't squished into a small section of chairs or having to run for chairs as soon as they free up - real talk.

Dear readers, I previously posted a negative review while sitting in the shop...but need to revisit and obviously edit, based on the end result.

The orginal review was based on first impressions of two young women, staff members, who were cold and held even dismissive dispositions, which then made me very critical of the shop, bad service will do that....., by the time, what I suspected to be, the owners were addressing me, the impression, damage was done and I did not address my concerns for wanting to NOT dampen MY brides joy. I will spare you the details.

However it was based on what I experienced, but more importantly witnessed, as one of these two girls provided lack luster assistance to another bride, who in her own joy.....I am thankful was oblivious to the lack luster service. Sadly as a "spectator" I was aware... as it threaten, well actually did, dampened my joy in this amazing and wonderful journey for A, and, my... bride, my beloved sister. I never mentioned any of this negativity to my bride, who thankfully also, in her joy was unaware. Suffice to say, the two staff members, require immediate retraining to remind them they are there to accommodate and be part of the joy for which the customer, the bride and their guests are there to accomplish, EXPERIENCE..and BUY. These two, I NEVER saw at the very least smile at anyone. Sullen faces as if they hated being there.

The SAVING grace and reason for 5 stars and edit, was our end result, DUE solely to the wonderful young lady WE were fortunate enough to work with, she was superb, a credit to the shop, lovely, helpful, full of smiles and clearly SHARING our joy.. end result? My bride found her dress! THE DRESS....which she will be walking, figuratively and literally into for the rest of her life. Uniting to a man who is perfect to fulfill all her dreams and who she can lavish all of her stored up love and affection on.

My hope is that all future brides and their guests are never robbed of their joy while searching for THE DRESS and ALL it...

I’ve been very intimidated and hesitant to go dress shopping because it’s not like I’m a size 0. I would be considered “midsize” I guess. I’ve heard of horror stories of women on the curvier side going dress shopping and having the worst and most humiliating experiences. After reading reviews I decided to try out this shop. From the moment I walked into the store I felt so welcome. Hannah was the stylist who helped me. She showed me all the dresses in my budget and styles I liked, and let me look around on my own to pick some out to try on. She could easily adapt and figure out what I would and wouldn’t like. She even suggested a different dress style than the styles I was trying on which were mermaid I think. The first A-line dress she brought me was THE one. I couldn’t stop staring at myself, I felt so pretty. I was surprised that I actually got a little emotional and teary eyed. It’s something I would’ve never taken off the rack to try on and that just goes to show how well she was able to read me and listen to what I liked. I could go on and on, but she was truly amazing, respectful, helpful, and just the best person to be there by my side with all this. (I went alone because my friends and family live far away). She even held my phone while I was FaceTiming my mom and took pictures for me. Dress shopping can get stressful and I was getting overwhelmed with the sizing, but Hannah really knows what she’s doing. If you read this entire review without making an appt then you’re really missing out. I can’t think of one bad thing to say about this place. YOU WILL NOT REGRET...
