Food quality/quantity and price is why I only give it 2 stars. We were pretty disappointed in the “small” amount of combination fried rice in a to go order for the price. Plus the price of the sesame beef, huge price for little quantity. Crab rangoon was tasteless too, no flavor! Fried rice wasn’t very tasty unless you add lots of soy sauce. If you have to add a lot of soy sauce, it’s not a flavorful fried rice. The sesame beef was not spicy at all, didn’t even have a slight kick, I had fried rice instead of white rice on the side of this dish…there wasn’t even egg in the fried rice side, it was just brown in color and tasteless. All that we ordered in total was the combo fried rice, sesame beef, and crab rangoon…our total with a 20% tip was $53.26. Terrible and expensive! I’d prefer to go to a good, tasty, more authentic Chinese restaurant for that price, not a good price for good ole American made Chinese food that doesn’t have much flavor. The fortune cookie quotes were not even fortunes just generic no brainier sayings…strange. People who work there were nice though, they have nice chop sticks too. I will not return to this location due to food quality and quantity at the price they are charging. I gave them 2 stars because the people were nice at...
Read moreThe food is perfectly mediocre but for the price it’s unacceptable. We got the Super pu pu platter (must be super because it’s super expensive) it’s $9 for 1 tiny chicken wing (flat only not even a whole wing), one small egg roll, one fried shrimp, one beef on stick (that felt floppy and was rare inside which is opposite of beef on a stick from other places that is cooked till crispy) and one spare rib (mostly bone and had a weird seasoning). It was comical as my husband and I took turns eating one bite off each thing because each item was 2 tiny bites of food. The peking bbq was meh, it felt like sliced lunch meat in a sort of bbq sauce. I thought it was ok but my husband found it disgusting. My food was messed up so they don’t read the special requests when you put your order in. The lowest Entree price is $14, the amount of food you get isn’t very impressive at all and we didn’t even get fortune cookies. I thought this place might be better quality for the higher price but I was wrong. It’s just overpriced buffet quality Chinese food for almost $15 a plate. We recommend Long Time Ago restaurant for this type of Chinese food at a much better portion size and...
Read moreIt had been a while since I was back to May Dragon. The owner was the mayor when I was there for his celebration dinner. The food was excellent and fresh! Like authentic Chinese Food! Well, the visit we had was very disappointing! I ordered the Orange Beef, which was too sweet and a lot of sauce. Very Americanized! My wife ordered the Combo fried rice, had no flavor, and came out cold! When we told the owners wife that the fried rice was cold, she took it back to the kitchen to microwave it, not to reheat or rebook it in the wok! Now the shrimp and meat are tough! Very inedible! We both did not finish our dishes! The lunch menu is very expensive for the quality of the food that was received! My Orange beef was $16, and my wife's combo fried rice was about the same price and extra charge because it was a combo, I guess because of the shrimp and meats. Don't get a soft drink. It comes in a bottle for $4! The pricing is for a high-end Chinese restaurant with authentic good Chinese food like Royal China! Not like a fast food Chinese restaurant, which looks outdated! We will not be back and not suggest May...
