Ethan Allen-Agoura Hills location is the best. I have been working with Lisa since August 2018 and she has gone above and beyond with designing my home with furniture, drapes, artwork for 3 bedrooms, an office, a den, 2 living rooms , 2 dining areas as well as an outdoor living/dining area. Lisa single handedly picked out all of the paint schemes for the entire home. She is knowledgeable about the products and has taken the time to learn my preferences, as well as bring great new ideas, to blend my new purchases with the few items I already owned. I have been grateful to Lisa for helping with not only the main pieces but also down to floral arrangements, bedding, etc. When friends/family come to visit, they all comment on how beautiful the home has become. They all mention that it is like visiting a hotel/resort and when can they make a reservation for a vacation. From Lisa to the delivery team, they have always worked with my limited availability to make everything work down to the scheduling of the delivery. I looked at several different options to have my home furnished/designed when this journey first began 4 years ago. Read moreThe furniture and design services at Ethan Allen are fantastic—great selection and high-quality pieces. I’ve been furnishing my home for over 40 years (different homes and different stores) with their furniture and accent pieces. This past year I’ve worked with Andrea to help me select new couches, rug, and bedding. She has wonderful ideas and is professional, responsive, and very knowledgeable. She worked with us on rearranging some pillows from one room to another. Andrea is practical and not pushy at all.
That said, the store could really benefit from having a receptionist or front desk person to welcome customers as they walk in. Most recently when I have visited, I wasn’t sure who to speak to, especially when the designers were busy with other clients. It would also be nice to have a receptionist to answer the phone calls.
A friendly receptionist would make the experience feel much more welcoming and organized. Once you’re connected with a designer, the service is excellent. As a general contractor with experience on several high-profile projects in downtown San Francisco, I have had the opportunity to work closely with many top architecture and design firms across the country. I would rank Aileen in the top percentage of that group. She took the time to truly understand our vision for the space and selected the best furnishings to bring that vision to life.
My wife and I often walk through our home, marveling that the final result is even better than we had imagined. Aileen's attention to detail, along with her ability to manage our budget and guide the project through to move-in, was truly impressive. She even came in on her day off to oversee our move, ensuring a flawless delivery and showing a personal touch that made us feel genuinely valued.
