Vikki’s...A Unique Boutique — Local services in Aiken County

Unfortunately my first visit to this boutique turned into my last. I visited this boutique a few years ago. I should have left the review right away but I shrugged it off. It bothers me til this day and I should hope by leaving this review it will be corrected in the future. During my visit I went from room to room looking at various items, hoping to see if anything caught my eye. I heard whoever was the owner or employee greeting and asking other customers if they needed any help. The other customers were white I am a black women. Keep in mind I’m not overly sensitive or on standby ready to pounce when it comes to possible bias or racism. Im easy going. As I was looking I heard footsteps coming in my direction so I assumed it was a staff member coming to ask if I needed assistance. When she entered the room I was in she just stared at me. Didn’t say a word. She didn’t stock an item, fetch an item off a rack or do anything else in the room. She literally just stared at me and then left the room. It was blatantly obvious she had come to make sure I wasn’t shoplifting. Irregardless I made a purchase anyway and vowed never to return to the store again. Everyone needs to be treated...

Do yourself a favor and shop at this local store. I had been to 6 other places (3 chain stores and 3 local boutiques) before coming to Vikki's looking for a dress to wear in family photos. I was at my whit's end! I'm also holding on to 45lb of baby weight so I had no idea how to dress for the size I am now. The staff was lovely and picked out several dresses for me to try on. I found the perfect dress to go with my daughter's dress! I got lovely earrings to match. I also ended up buying pants. I wear a 34" inseam. Do yourself a favor and buy Judy blues! I'm never going back to my Old Navy jeans!

I ordered an item that was waayyyyy too big for a small and returned it for a credit. I tried to use it on 2 products but they were not available. I went to look again about using the credit when I realized if I ordered anything else I will have paid around $40 just in shipping; I had to pay for original shipping, to return, and to use credit. I only have a $48 credit. This is a scam. If I use the credit I am paying the cost of the item plus all the shipping. If I don't comply to their demands then I just lose my money.
