Well we can start off when we was trying to order our food. The server explained how they was out of almost everything. We did get our advertiser's finally. I've ate gator bites for a very long time including in New Orleans. We finally was able to order some fish of the menu. Both meals were wrong. The fish was way under cooked to the point it was wet. Almost like a sushi way. I think the best part of one meal was the mac-n-cheese. The other meal was not only raw as well but flounder does not look, smell, taste, or resemble catfish in anyway. Raw catfish is one of the most nastiest fish you could get. Just the fact they're bottom feeding fish should be enough reason or at least help with that statement. Sent that entries back to hopefully get the correct fish at least. After 15-20 minutes the "flounder" came back out. Long story short it got trashed. Our server informed us she would be outback washing floormats. No one finish eating. We never seen a manager during all of this. The server of course had to argue with us and tell us that we was wrong. After I'd say 10 minutes or so she came back to the table with the receipt. Now if you recall I said no one ate a meal. So the server tossed us the receipt as she stated that "I took off that one piece of fish that you didn't like and assumed it was catfish". Okay great thank you. That was $6.00 off the total. So I still ended up paying $90 or so for food we didn't eat. I had such high hopes from how the restaurant has such a positive feedback. Maybe it was a one off or something. Either way I think I'll travel to the island to get sea food. Aiken...
Read moreWell it took 15 mins to be greeted after sitting down at our table and then after finally being greeted and giving the waitress our order we patiently waited for our drinks. The food came before our drinks had arrived and the waitress that dropped off our food, not our waitress, quickly left without realizing we didn’t even have cups on our table. After sitting for another 5 mins without drinks the waitress said she had to wait for the tea to be made while we sat and watched our food get cold. Finally we received our drinks and started eating and quickly realized that we were not alone in the experience as we see 2 other tables experiencing the same terrible service as we were. Another table of the young lady who is named Kayla also received their food before getting their waters and had even received wine before their waters. The food was actually good which we were very happy about but the service made us never want to go back and we will be telling friends and family about this horrible experience! This is the first and last time we will ever go and it’s very disappointing since we had heard such great things about...
Read moreThe place was FULL on a Monday (7:15pm they close at 9pm) and we STILL were able to get seated within 10 minutes without a reservation. I suggest calling ahead if needed. The floor was sticky in the restroom and in certain areas of the dining section (im assuming it was due to the time we arrived vs time business closes + customer volume). The Whole Red Snapper Plate (photo) was a hit for some. Others enjoyed the burgers, and the hush puppies were cooked "Just Right!". The fries were over seasoned, the rice & beans lacked flavor and was dry. (Again could be due to the time of our dining). Our server was Great! Didn't need to ask for refills. She would check the table at the right times (not when your mouth is full of food 🤣). We were not acknowledged right away upon entering - again, they were PACKED, and there is only 1 hostess. The other staff (who were by the door- bartender, waitresses) didn't acknowledge either, but personally, I'm only interested in how my own wait staff is since they are getting my tip. Overall, it was an OK experience, again could be due to the time we choose to go vs the time the...
