HoneyBaked Ham of Aiken — Restaurant in Aiken County

I just had to turn this manager in to the honey baked ham company. He is extremely rude. Last week was my birthday and I received two coupons. One for joining the rewards program and one for my birthday. I presented the coupons for free ham sandwiches and the manager had an issue with me because he wanted me to buy more items. The coupon was for a free sandwich no purchase necessary but he had an attitude about it. My daughter and husband also joined the rewards program and received a coupon for their free sandwiches. The coupons do not expire until 7/6/17 and 7/8/17. The manager refused them service today because I got a free sandwich last week. That's not how the rewards program works. We will not be returning to this honey baked ham restaurant because he's all about the dollar not about building positive customer experience and building his customer base. He is also very rude to his employees from what I witnessed and from what my husband witnessed and he was rude calling the older customers in his store slow. (We drove to Chick-fil-a and spent our money there instead. We use the rewards program there quite often. In fact we're A-listers at Chick-fil-a because we spend so much money there. Never eaten Honey Baked Ham and wanted to give it a try being new to the area. The restaurant was empty when we got there and the gentleman behind the counter greeted us. We asked for suggestions on the best food (honestly I thought they would have had more than sandwiches) and ordered our lunch. We got 2 sandwiches, canned soda (our choice) and a bag of chips each. Our total was right around $30. I thought these are going to be huge sandwiches for this price, i was wrong. They both had a few pieces of meat, a slice of cheese, some lettuce, tomato and whatever condiment was on them. That was it. I could have made bigger and better at home but this was literally a basic sandwich you would make at home and was nothing special. I was so disappointed in it and will not be going back. It is a shame because the employee who helped us was SO nice, but everything else was just basic and not worth the price.

THIS BUSINESS OWNER IS A RIP OFF AND DISGRACE TO THE COMMUNITY! I spoke with Mr G about catering 35 box lunches for a rehearsal dinner to be served at a local church do delivery would be free. When I placed the order he said I would have to pay for the pickles. He acted like he was giving me something when in reality it comes with the meal.

When the sandwiches were served and opened they had skimpy one inch pieces of ham or turkey. Several were only the brown skin, which looked like throw away pieces of meat. Many couldn't even eat the sandwich because there was little meat The potato salad cups were only 1/3 full (2 bites) and should have been full!

You, Mr G, should be ashamed! You are a disgrace to Honey Baked Ham! You are lying and stealing from your customers and think it is OK. Other reviews I see have experienced the same.
