Probably one of the best comic shops in the downtown Akron area. Tons of long boxes to browse through. All of the big publishing companies like Marvel & DC but they also have a wide variety of smaller press lines (IDW, Skybound, Boom, ect.) as well. Plenty of different memorabilia to collect whether is Funko pops or vintage action figures. A good amount of key comics if youāre interested in collecting rarer books. The guy who was working in the front was incredibly cool and knowledgeable. If you had a question heād help you out to the best of his ability. I would highly recommend everyone to check...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just came in to see the rubber city comic shop and all itās majestic glory and man was it a let down....Hardly any new books on the shelves and the items looked so old...I picked up a couple of books and the guy behind the counter (bald guy glasses Velcro shoes) could have cared less about my business...he didnāt ask if I needed help with anything and he wouldnāt end his conversation with one of his buddies long enough to tell me the total or even thank me for my business. They didn't greet us or even acknowledge our presence when we came in, nor when we left. They have an acceptable amount of comics but not many hard cover anthologies or the variety I'm used to.
