Street Treats Grill — Restaurant in Akron

I've been working in downtown Akron for at least 23 years. I have been a patron of Street Treats Grill for as long as they've served food downtown (8-10 years?). I eat in this establishment at least 3 times a week. PERSONAL SERVICE: First and foremost, I have always been impressed with the owner's (Mark) personable and sincere approach to his customers, just not me, everybody! This personable approach is shared and extended to customers through the employees. The support staff is excellent. With all the food orders ( which would have to number in the 100s) I've placed with Street Treats Grill over the years, I cannot remember 1 mistake in my order.That is remarkable! QUALITY OF FOOD: The quality of food is outstanding! This is a sandwich spot that has an excellent and extensive menu. I like the breakfast sandwiches, chicken pita sandwiches, beef hot dogs and chicken salads. Prices are very reasonable! I'm going to review the salad dressings. A friend of mine loves white french, so I bought her a bottle at Marc's. She raved about it, so I bought a bottle for myself. Way too sweet for me. It does make an awesome dressing for cole slaw. Since my heritage is Greek, I decided to try the Greek dressing. I had my home grown tomatoes and cucumber, and some red onion. I added kalamata olives, and green olives and a whiff of powdered oregano. Put on some Ya Yas Greek dressing. Tossed everything and topped it with feta. I like fresh ground pepper, so I added that. I dug in and thought WHAT?. It was so sweet, I couldn't even eat it. In a word, it was terrible. I have eaten home made Greek dressing for 80 yrs...this is not Greek dressing. Oh well, $5.00 wasted. I work at the building next door, and since almost a year ago now, this has been my ABSOLUTE favorite place to get lunch! The food is always so fresh, and tasty!!
