Kohl's needs to do better. Went with my dad to try on slip on Skechers shoes. My dad's mobility is to/from the car with a cane, but he isn't strong enough to get a wheelchair or walker in or out of a vehicle, so he doesn't have one. Usually carts are okay for him to maneuver, but after a hospital stay, he is very weak.
We asked if they had a little scooter for him to use since they have an ADA placard on their store window. No motorized scooters like target and walmart and every other department store? Ok cool, we can use the ONLY wheelchair they have in store. .... Except it doesn't have FOOTRESTS? They looked at me like I was crazy for asking for footrests. My dad has limited feeling of his feet, and would not be able to raise them off of the ground by himself. If you're going to provide an ADA accessible piece of equipment, make sure it's functional. No footrests = unusable piece of junk.
Also zero benches in the store except for the one tiny one in the shoe section, my poor dad almost collapsed on the ONE bench provided OUTSIDE of the store doors. Not ADA accessible despite their little placard on the store window.
smdh.
PS, what's with not labeling your items with prices? I had to find a sales associate to scan a barcode to check the price. What a weird way to...
Read moreI am only giving one star because there is nothing lower and I found a pair of boots on sale. I have never felt so irritated in a store before. The floor was messy and nothing was where it was supposed to be. I don't know how many time I tried to go down an isle and found myself tripping over things on the floor. The clothes were scattered everywhere, the employees were rude and uninterested in helping anybody. I literally had been standing at a register waiting for somebody to come and ring me up for close to 10 minutes before an employee who had walked by me and looked straight in my eyes 6x before he walked up to me to tell me that this side of the stores registers were closed. I'm sorry but do you not know how to use the register, in guessing you do considering I saw you ringing up a couple a few minutes before I came to wait. And then the other side of the store the line was a mile long and the poor woman at the cash register was calling for help the entire time in the store and nobody would come to her aid. Needless to say I will not be returning to this...
Read moreI went here recently because I had an Amazon purchase that didn't work out and had to return it. I never knew places outside of the delivery services that took returns so I was really interested in finding it out, plus it's beside the Trader Joe's so I figured it would be a nice in and out.
When I got to the store I asked the greeter where I could return the purchase and she was really helpful. I got mt QR code out in the return area and it was as simple as the associate scanning that, getting a print out and giving me the receipt. I got an Email really quickly about the return and they even gave me a 25% off coupon for the store.
I looked around at an assortment of shirts I could wear to the office and found a super nice one. Went to the check out and the cashier wiped down the surface before I got there, I gave her the coupon and the $60 shirt went down to $22 with the coupon and some in store discount that was already applied. I was super happy leaving the store and I'll definitely go back again if I need to get another nice shirt or return something...
