Start at the Salmon Ladder in the port where the cruiseship dock.
If you are visiting at the right time of year and the tide is right, you will not only see Salmon accessing the first part of the creek on their journey to spawn, but also voracious seal or three, eagerly following the fish up the ladder to feast.
By following the creek on either side, you may not always have a good view of the salmon that are making their way up the stream. Not to worry. There is a small pond up the creek and also a bridge, and both offer a good view of the nature documentary about to be revealed. Enjoy!
