So I write this after 3 separate events to this Chick-fil-A. Some might wonder why go back, however every day is different every experience is as well. Some people just have off days. With this though we are talking about Ice cream. Not only with the first visit did the man not wear gloves he grabbed the cone with his bare hands. I refused the cone. Next visit again was a order with Ice Cream and the machine is right there in plain view. This time the man had a glove on and was using the machine with the glove and holding the cone again with the hand. Then the cashier actually asked me if I wanted her to put on gloves to hand me the cone I said yes. ( I had asked them to remake it) This was after the man threw the cone away and did it properly. Why couldn’t the man just hand me the cone why are they not wanting to put gloves on. Today however, gloves were not an option but a napkin was used instead. Ok I can deal with that. Then he grabs the cone with the napkin, the machine messes up and he scrapes the top of the ice cream off in the main container. So the cone is now touching the lid and just scraped off. He then adds new ice cream on the cone and I sent it back. I don’t want to eat dust, fingers and debris. I don’t know what’s on that lid lip. So with the old cone new ice cream was put on I ask for another cone. They do not have any and instead of trashing ice cream that has been out of the container he again throws it back in I am so grossed out. I asked them to put it in a cup, threw it away and went to another restaurant for ice cream. Just gross. I will only go to the other store from now on. We can see that machine, no one wants to eat someone else’s fingers. We touch everything with our hands and I mean...
Read moreOn 2/20/2021 before work in Albany, Ga I decided to get Chick-fil-a for breakfast. I ordered chicken mini's, a coke, and a frozen coffee. Upon arriving at the window my order was taking a minute which was fine they took my debit card as a normal food place would and handed me my food. I had to wait a little longer for my coffee so in total I waited a total of maybe 10 minutes in total as I drove off as I was late to work just to discover that my card was not given back to me! In a matter of waiting on food preparation they had also not given me my debit card back which I find very unprofessional and even if it is a careless mistake it is highly inappropriate. As I called to let them know the situation had taken place they acted as this issue had happen pretty regularly and were very unapologetic. As a Chick-fil-a I believe they should have higher standards and better training taking place. Highly Upset as this could have easily caused financial theft as it is just as simple as taking a picture of someone's card to be able to purchase something these days! On top of all these issues I did not even get a Coke I got a Dr...
Read moreHow does Albany still have a chik-fil-a? KJ must pay a fortune to keep the franchise alive here. I can count on one hand the number of truly great experiences I've had at this location. I travel not only domestically but internationally(to Canada)for work and this location might as well be the dumpster fire of Chik-fil-a locations. I love the company and everything they stand for, but I would rather order from McDonalds because they provide the same "it is what it is" model of customer service that the afore mentioned restaurant provides. I am a trainer for a global brand and I even use Chik-fil-a to introduce learners into the topic of top tier customers service, but I have ti add the disclaimer of Albany being the exception to the rule. Special credit to the "manager" Ariel (sorry if I didn't spell it correctly) for not doing anything when my issue was raised to they/them. I've eaten at this restaurant in so many locations and have been blown away, but everytime I come back home it is trash... I tell all of my classes, Albany can even screw up Chick-fil-A..... and...
