I had the pleasure of working with Michelle Cortez as a mediation facilitator, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. She was awful. Very one sided and expensive. Doesn't care about fairness. We hired her as a mediator then she filed documents with the Court as a court appointment arbitrator. She overstepped. If mediation fails, the parties have an option to take the divorce to trail with the judge. She only cared about her expensive fees and only mother's side. Beware, if you are father. Cortez only cares about mother getting money regardless if father can afford it. When a hard working father can bearly afford attorney fees or child support. Cortez didn't care and it was her mission to not care. Not everyone makes a lot of money and still trying to survive and get through a hard divorce with some way to heal...
