This was a complete disaster that cost me $12k and I was blamed for it by this Dorene. Even the judge said this was an excessive amount of money for this case. Dorene took over my case after one of her attorneys Brooke Acosta left me and my case out of no where. Brooke was absolutely horrible, unethical, unprepared, did not inform me, I had to try to be the expert and of course I wasn't that's why I hired them and it cost me me and my kids our future in a time where it mattered in my life. I was initially told the case would cost about $4k (no court), but I sure didn't read my final paperwork before signing (deceiving for sure). 'I' was getting charged $500 everytime my ex would not respond to emails, so they would keep sending them. Maybe if Dorene had taken the case from the beginning things would have gone smoothly but from her hearing hear say (not knowing truth) she was very judgmental toward me from the beginning and basically blamed me for the outcomes of my case. I hired this law firm because they were the experts not me and majority of time I had to try hard to be the expert because if I didn't I got screwed...in which I did. They have enough experience to know what your case involves, what to ask for, advise you what to ask for, but nope you're on your own on that one. I shouldn't have to think of everything under the sun regarding my case, but that's how you have to be with this firm. Honestly I think you only matter to them if your income is over $200k a year other than that they'll easily just take your money and not fight for you the way they should...or the way it costs. They kept saying my ex was causing me to spend more money or because I didn't communicate well the 1st month the WHOLE outcome was my fault. All this office cares about is the $250/$350 an hour and in my case didn't care about me as a client period. Even up to the end once they got their last payment they did not respond to any more of my emails. They cost me another $6k because their office did not catch a date that my ex husband's lawyer put in the final divorce decree and therefore wanted me to pay probably another $5k to fix it when I already paid them to catch things like that. All they care about is you feeding them money $350/hr for an email....on a small note they took a few payments from me instead of needing all the $12k up front ...they should've fixed THEIR mistake in my divorce...

I don’t know any reason why anyone wouldn't use this law firm. Dorene and her staff are amazing. Dorene was actually the attorney that had my case but yes she used others to help her when needed, but that’s a good sign for anyone. My case was very involved and had a lot of detail. So let’s make it really simple. I was looking at close to a half million dollars in support to my ex-wife. Keep in mind there were no children of the marriage involve. With Dorene and her staff I only ended up paying 45k in support. Tell me that’s not a huge win for anyone. She never refused to return a call or answer a question and the firm paid the ultimate attention to detail for my case. If you need an attorney, call her and move forward with her. She will make you incredibly comfortable. She saved me for sure. The rates are fare and compatible with any other attorney. And before I forget she also handled my criminal case on a bogus charge filed by my ex-wife and yes charges were dismissed on that case. They are life savers for sure. I highly recommend Dorene and her firm for your attorney needs. Good luck, because if you have to call Dorene you better hire her. She will win for you. I found Dorene and her office while I was looking for someone to help me with modifying child and spousal support orders. From the very beginning Dorene and the entire staff were incredibly helpful. Emails and phone calls with questions were returned and answered promptly. Even on weekends and evenings I would receive the information I was looking for. Dorene understood what I needed help with and was able to resolve both matters for me. Honestly with the personalized attention they made me feel like I was their only client. Things took some extra time with everything that happened with COVID but Dorene kept me updated all the time.
